Dear Member, As a civic organization whose mission it is to foster success for our members and the community, we have created many programs, events and opportunities over the last two years to enhance the value we deliver to our members. Some of the greatest opportunities we have created involve participation in our annual Taste of Brandon. This packet will explain how the Taste of Brandon was re-envisioned to provide a signature event to the Greater Brandon area that brings families together and fosters a sense of community. We look forward to your consideration and participation in the 2019 Taste of Brandon at Westfield Brandon on March 9. We invite you to secure an exhibit booth in order to bring attention to your business, or to offer samples of signature menu items that will draw people back to your restaurant. The mission of the "Taste of Brandon " is to provide the Greater Brandon area with a signature event that brings families together and fosters a sense of community. 2. Why is the event called the "Taste of Brandon "? a. The "Taste of Brandon " will feature many of Brandon's most popular restaurants serving 2-3 ounce samples of signature menu items. Guests will have the opportunity to try these samples and then vote for the restaurants with the best tastings, spirits and desserts. 3. How will the event benefit our community? a. The "Taste of Brandon " will benefit thousands of people in our surrounding community by: i. The "Taste of Brandon " will benefit our families: 1. By offering a fun filled, low cost family atmosphere with music and activities for all. Our non-profits are encouraged to offer family friendly activities. ii. The "Taste of Brandon " will benefit our restaurants: 1. By providing them an opportunity to gain exposure, build their business and be recognized for excellence, and be recognized for excellence 2. The event will include a "best of" competition in which attendees will vote for their favorite tasting, spirits and desserts. iii.the "Taste of Brandon " will benefit our community: 1. By being held at Westfield Brandon which is a geographic and social center for our community.

Restaurants Booths are provided on a complimentary basis. The chamber provides a 10 x10 space and two admission wristbands. You will need to bring the following items: 10x10 tent, tent weights, table, chairs, table linen, electric cords, (if purchasing electricity), trash can/liners and marketing collateral! 2019 VENDOR POLICIES 1. Vendors must be pre-approved prior to the event. The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) must receive your completed and signed 2019 Booth Vendor Concession Contract by 4:00 PM Friday, February 22nd. 2. Vendors must be licensed and carry General Liability Insurance. A certificate of insurance must name Westfield Brandon as the Certificate Holder. The address is 459 Brandon Town Center Drive, Brandon, FL 33511. A copy is to be provided to the GBCC by 4:00 PM Friday, February 22nd.(Details provided at the bottom of this document). 3. Vendors shall request access to electricity (if needed) on their 2019 Event Vendor Concession Contract. Requests for electrical access must be received by 4:00 PM Friday, February 22nd. There is a $100 fee for the use of electricity. 4. Vendors are responsible for providing content for a fun-filled, family event. No profanity or suggestive content of any kind. 5. Vendors shall be ready to meet the public one hour prior (12pm) to the event start at 1:00 PM. Event set-up is the morning of the event, 10:00 AM to noon. 6. Vendors are responsible for the breakdown and removal of all items within their vending space. Trash must be securely bagged and placed in one of the provided receptacles, placed that will be located throughout the grounds. GBCC also will have recycling bins on site. Event breakdown immediately follows the event, 4:00 6:00 PM. 7. Vendors cannot sell or distribute any goods or services, including water and/or soft drinks, during the event without the GBCC s written consent. All beverages will be sold by the GBCC. 8. Vendors shall promote the event at their establishment by posting signage (provided by GBCC) at entrance. 9. Vendors are requested to provide two (2) door prizes (gift cards, gift baskets, etc.) valued at a minimum of $25 each for marketing purposes on the day of the event. Door prizes will be collected during vendor registration at the event. 10. Vendors shall use only load-in areas designated by the GBCC. All vendors must check in at vendor registration prior to load-in at specified locations. Page 2 of 4

11. Vendor stations shall not exceed 10 x10 (unless provided by the GBCC ahead of the event), and must be clean and orderly, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. All items required for the vending station (tents, tables, chairs, linens, extension cords, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the vendor. 12. Vendors and their representatives shall be respectful of other vendors and attendees both within their vending space and throughout the event grounds. 13. Vendors and their representatives shall be clothed and groomed in a clean, neat fashion in familyappropriate clothing and shall conduct themselves in an orderly fashion. 14. Vendors will receive two (2) admission wristbands when their participation form is approved by the GBCC. 15. Vendors are responsible to make sure all cords are properly placed and secured to prevent a trip or fall hazard to themselves or attendees. 16. Unless pre-approve by the chamber, vendors and their representatives shall not utilize any sound amplification devices or play loud music during the event. If approved, chamber staff retains sole discretion over sound levels. Vendors agree to comply with any decision communicated regarding sound levels and the use of amplification. 17. Vendors hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Westfield Brandon, The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce and all sponsors against any damages or claims that may arise in connection with vendors presence and activities of any kind at the event. 18. Vendors will need to provide a Certificate of Insurance, Health Department Certificate & the Hold Harmless Agreement below when they submit in this participation form. The following must be listed as additional insured and under Endorsement CG 20 26 11/85 on the COI: The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Westfield Brandon. Vendors who do not provide this information will not be allowed to participate on the day of the event. 19. Vendors shall not hold Westfield Brandon, The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce or any event sponsor responsible for the security of any vendor items before during, or after the event. Page 3 of 4

PARTICIPANT S RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT The undersigned Participant ( Participant ) desires to participate in the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Taste of Brandon, (the Event ). In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, Participant, for itself and its successors and assigns, knowingly and voluntarily releases, waives, and discharges the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, The Taste of Brandon, Westfield Brandon, and Hillsborough County, and all of their past, present and future members, owners, employees, officers, directors, principals, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, associate corporations, agents, partners, representatives, predecessors, heirs, legal representatives, successors, sponsors, beneficiaries and assigns (collectively, the Released Parties ), to the full extent allowed by applicable law, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for injury to person or property, however caused, even if caused by the negligence, in whole or in part and in any form, of the Released Parties. Participant agrees that it will not sue or make a claim or demand against the Released Parties for any Injury to person or property arising out of or related to the Event. In the event that Participant files suit or makes a claim or demand against the Released Parties in violation of the foregoing covenant not to sue, then Participant agrees to pay all attorney s fees and costs incurred by the Released Parties in connection with any such suit, claim or demand. Participant further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, judgments and costs, including attorney s fees (to the limited extent that the defense and indemnity are not otherwise covered by collectible liability insurance), in the event that someone suffers personal injury, bodily injury, death, or property damage as a result of Participant s participation in the Event, whether caused by Participant s negligence or willful misconduct, or otherwise. Participant has carefully read this agreement and understands the contents hereof. I have received and reviewed the 2019 Vendor Policies and fully understand the benefits and requirements for vendor and restaurant participation at the Taste of Brandon and agree to comply. I am aware this form represents a binding contract between my organization and The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce.
