Chapter 1 Login To access our homepage, please key in www.kimeng.com.hk as the URL address 1) Enter your User ID and Password 2) Click on Login Logged into the account management page, click on Start Trading under the HK Stocks. 1
Chapter 2 Place Order (1) Select from the menu Stock trading 1. When logging into the system, system will show [Place Order] interface automatically. You may click [Place Order] from the menu interface. stock trading interface display position 2. Place Order Client may select the [ Buy ] (interface turned to blue) or [ Sell ] (interface turned to red) The following example in order to buy stocks: client may follow the sequence for order input [ Stock Code ], [ Order Price ], [ Order Quantity ] and [ Order Type ]. Stock Code - When customers enter a stock code followed by this column, the right hand side shows the name of the corresponding stock. Order Price - Customers should pay attention to whether it is the input price of the stock bid-ask spreads. Order Quantity - After inputting the order price, the right hand column will shows the maximum of shares that can purchase (if client are using [ Sell ] will display the maximum numbers can be sold. Note, the system do not support odd lot trading. Order Type - This system support (A) auction order, (E) Enhanced Limit Order and (S) Special Limit Order. Valid Until - The system is up to seven trading days of the Good-till orders, the day of default. 2
3. When the selection of input completed, [Trading Password] is required and follow by [Confirm] to execute the transaction. Client can also save the transaction password to login during this time eliminating duplication of input. Refer to Chapter 7 [Setting]. 4. After confirmation, the system will shows [Order Preview] for client s transaction content checking. Clients can preview the page by pressing [Confirm] the execution of transactions or press [Cancel] to reset the transaction content. 5. After trade execution, clients can view the transaction. (2) Fast Selling Function To make it easier for client understand that the current situation of stocks holdings, in the [Place Order] interface is provided below the list of holders of shares. Clients simply press the [Sell] button to the [Stock Trading] interface transactions. (3) Trading with price function (only available to clients who have applied for IQ real-time quotation service) For the convenience of clients, the system provides [Trading with the Price Function], Customers can press [Teletext] on the Bid/Ask price, the system will automatically choose the stock name and the input price into [Place Order] interface, clients can simply enter the remaining information on the implementation of the transaction. Clients can select the Bid/Ask price from the [Teletext], and the price move to the [Place Order] interface The stock name and price that have been chosen by the clients will be automatically linked to the input tray in the [Place Order] interface. 3
Chapter 3 Amend or Cancel Order If client wants to change the quantity and price, can be linked to the [Order Book] interface to find records of change of the order, and then press record on the [Change] button to make changes. After keying, the [Change to Bid / Ask] interface will display automatically. In the [Change to Bid / Ask] interface, clients can change the [Price] and [Quantity], and then click [OK] to submit changes. When clients are finished amending orders, may view the record in the [Order Book]. Steps to cancel and change order are similar, clients can press [Cancel] key via the chosen order record, then enter the [Cancel Order] interface. When clients enter the [Cancel Order] interface, the order contents will be displayed; after the verification of the information, and click [OK] to cancel the order. When a client successfully linked to cancel order, then view at [Order Book] again check whether the record has been eliminated. 4
Chapter 4 Order Book Clients can select the [Order Book] from the [Main Menu]. Order book will display the details row, the interface has three [Filtering] functions to facilitate customer order records, including: Bid/ Ask Filtering - For clients to choose to bid/ ask record interface. Stock Code Filtering - For clients to choose to display a stock of record. Status Filter - For clients to choose to display the status of a particular stock. After each selection filtering, order book will be refreshing automatically. 5
Chapter 5 Trade History Clients can view your trading history by entering in the [Transaction Record] interface via [Main Menu]. Clients can view the transaction date and records via [Transaction Record] interface. Interface has [Bid/ Ask] and [Stock Code] filtering to facilitate client s on finishing trade records, this function is similar to [Order Book] filtering function. 6
Chapter 6 Portfolio Clients can view their stock on hand information via [Portfolio] interface. Clients can choose [Portfolio] interface via [Main Menu]. Interface has [Stock Code] filtering function to facilitate clients on executed orders. Clients may also click on [Ask] key directly to move [Stock Ask/ Bid] to the interface for trading purpose. Client can sell the stocks by pressing SELL button 7
Chapter 7 Daily Trading Statistics Clients can view their daily average buy/sell price of stock via [Daily Trading Statistics]. 8
Chapter 8 Setting (1) Language Setting When client login to the system, you can choose to change the default language set within. First select the [Settings]. Setting Preferences Selection Select the default language and press [Save] button. Customers can also use the screen after each time you login the upper right to change the language of choice for real-time, however, this option does not change the default language; the next login will display the default language. (1) Save trading password For each transaction, the system required to enter the trading password for confirmation. Clients can also save the trading password to login during this time eliminating duplicate entry. Method: "Settings" -> "Preferences" -> tick the "Save password setting transaction" -> OK "disclaimer" -> enter the password and save Note: after a [Save the trading password], after each successful login will be prompted again to save the transaction password window. To cancel the prompt, available in the [Preferences] removed "to save the transaction 9
Chapter 9 Change of Password 1. Clients can choose from the menu on the [Change Password], the system will display the [Change password] interface. 2. Clients are required to enter the [Old Password] (the password is being used), then enter the [New Password] and then in the [Confirm New Password] field re-enter the new password for confirmation. 3. Clients can [Confirm] presented to change, or press [Clear] to reset the content. 4. When a client successfully changed the password, the system interface displays [Password has been updated] message, prompting clients. If the client fails to change the password, the system will be in the interface displays [Login failed password change] message, the client should check the old password is correct, and then make changes. Chapter 10 IPO Subscription Clients can go into [IPO Subscription] interface to subscribe IPO online. Click [IPO Details] to check the current IPO details. Click [IPO Subscription Enquiry] to check your subscription details. 11
After getting into the [IPO Details] page, click [Related Info] to check individual IPOs information. Click [Subscribe] to place instruction for IPO subscription.
