Requested City Council Action Authorize distribution of the DRAFT 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update to affected jurisdictions for review City Council will have time to consider other amendments to the DRAFT Plan in the future Based on additional Council discussion Amendments to other documents related to the Plan Comments from affected jurisdictions and/or Metropolitan Council Next step in the planning process is to get the DRAFT Plan out for review Goal is to meet the submittal deadline of December 31, 2018 06/04/2018 DRAFT 2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UDPATE - CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING 2

What is a Comprehensive Plan? Why Update the Comprehensive Plan?
