WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FUND? The Annual Fund is a yearly request to Former Pupils, Former Parents, Parents and Friends of Heriot s to make a financial contribution to help support a number of important initiatives at the School which may not otherwise be possible. You can specify your gift to support one or more of the following areas: THE FOUNDATION Heriot s was founded in 1628 to educate faitherless bairns and we are proud that we continue to do so today. We provide not only their education but also assistance with trips, uniform, books, etc. BURSARIES Although the School offers a number of Bursaries each year, the Annual Fund is enabling us to create further places for children whose families are in financial need. GENERAL Recommendations will be made to Senior Management to determine projects that cannot be financed through fee income alone and which will most benefit the pupils currently at the School and future Herioters. GIFT AID The value of your donation will be increased if you are a UK taxpayer and qualify for Gift Aid please sign the declaration on the next page. All gifts, no matter what size, are important and will help benefit our pupils.
