WHAT'S NEW... with Online Banking Pending transactions history enhanced in Online Banking! Members are enjoying the benefits of our new MasterCard Debit Card You may have noticed something new and improved when you log into online banking on our website, www.cuhawaii.com. Back in late February 2017, we enhanced your online banking experience. No more viewing your pending transactions by clicking through a different menu selection area. CU Hawaii checking account members have now been issued their new MasterCard Debit Card with chip technology. Embedded in every card is a microprocessor chip that creates a unique transaction code that is used only once when a new transaction is performed. This unique feature helps prevent stolen data from being fraudulently used. With your new MasterCard Debit Card you can get cash at over two million ATMs worldwide. In Hawaii, you can use your card at all CU Hawaii owned ATMs at no charge. You can also use your card, surcharge free, at all First Hawaiian Bank or American Savings Bank ATMs statewide. Your new card also comes with many new benefits such as, ID Theft Protection, Extended Warranty, and Price Protection. Don t have a MasterCard Debit Card? You will receive your card in 7 10 days and you can start enjoying the convenience and safety of your chip embedded debit card.

Loan Rates are starting to Move Upward! Take advantage of CU Hawaii s low rates while they last! If you are in the market for a personal, auto or credit card loan you may want to get your application completed and submitted into CU Hawaii, sooner rather than later. The Federal Reserve has raised the overnight interest rate twice in the past 3 months and a third rate increase is anticipated to be announced by the Federal Reserve in June 2017. MEMBER REWARDS Some financial institutions are already cutting back on personal loan rate specials and raising their consumer loan rates.
