This document will walk you through downloading and using the mobile app to its fullest, and outline the differences between our full secure site and the app features. Downloading and Signing In Both clients and prospective clients can download the Ameriprise app. 1. Verify that you are using the correct device and operating system required by the app: 2. To access the download, either: Click on the links above to the App Store or Google play Go to www.ameriprise.com/mobile and select your device Go to your device-specific app store or market itunes App Store has app versions designed specifically for ipad, ipod touch and ipad mini 3. Click "Install" You may be prompted to sign in to your mobile device account You may be prompted to set the app permissions 4. You can now run the Ameriprise app

Check your total asset value and account information, including balances, positions and recent activity at the account and portfolio levels View portfolio allocation and progress Get a more complete financial picture by viewing accounts you add to Total View Deposit checks into certain Ameriprise brokerage accounts Make one-time or recurring transfers: o From an external bank account to your eligible Ameriprise accounts o From your eligible Ameriprise accounts to an external bank account o Between your eligible Ameriprise accounts Research market news and security quotes View and send email to your advisor and others using Message Center View your Meetings Enroll in Ameriprise app notifications which will alert you when certain actions occur (to access notifications, make sure to download and update the latest version of the Ameriprise app) Contact your advisor or customer service Find an advisor, if you don't already have one
