Page 2 (11) Product Release Autumn 2015 for the Bankgiro System and Associated Communications Products This document is intended for the banks that participate in the Bankgiro system. This document describes the planned changes to the system and the associated communications products. This document contains information that can be an aid to participating banks' planning and development work for 2015 and 2016. Bankgirot s future payment infrastructure In light of the changes taking place in the world around us and the trend towards more standardised payments, Bankgirot, together with participants in the Bankgiro system, is implementing a strategic initiative called Bankgirot's future payments infrastructure. The vision describes how Bankgirot will develop the payments infrastructure for mass payments in order to meet future needs and requirements. Read more about this in the section on long-term initiatives and projects. Activities 2015-2016 During 2015 and 2016 a number of development activities will be implemented as listed below. Bankgirot informs each project and product forum about activities and plans on an ongoing basis. Our ongoing development activities during 2015 and 2016 are: Euro payments are to be removed in Bankgirot's products Trial runs in Bg Avtal are removed The Tax Authorisation service (Skattefullmakt) will cease as of 1 February 2016

Page 4 (11) Summary of changes since latest product release Changes to the information that existed in the previous release are summarised here. Since the latest release was published in the spring of 2015 the following changes that affect banks in the system have been implemented and are thus no longer part of the document: Bg Online adapted so that login with e-identification can be done via Mobilt BankID (applies with effect from 18 May). Bankgirot s current profile incorporated in Bg Avtal (applicable with effect from 18 May). Additions to autumn's product release: Trial runs in Bg Avtal are removed

Page 5 (11) Upcoming changes Incoming and Outgoing Payments Euro payments are to be removed in Bankgirot's products General Bankgirot is currently processing payment instructions that include payments in Euro via outgoing payment products and later reports the Euro payments via incoming payment products. works today Outgoing payment products Leverantörsbetalningar (LB - Supplier Payments), Avgående Betalningar Bank (Pre-authorised Payments includes internet payments) and Emittentutbetalningar (Issuing House outgoing payments) process the currency Euro. The Leverantörsbetalningar (LB - Supplier Payments) product sends bank customers payment instructions to Bankgirot in Swedish kroner or Euro, which are processed by Bankgirot. It is also possible to include cross-border payments in, among other currencies, Euro that are then sent directly to the bank that processes and makes the payments. The Emittentutbetalningar (Issuing House outgoing payments) product sends Euroclear payment instructions to Bankgirot in Swedish kroner or Euro, which are processed by Bankgirot. The Avgående Betalningar Bank (Pre-authorised Payments) banks send payment instructions to Bankgirot in Swedish kronor or Euro, which are processed by Bankgirot. The payment products Insättningsuppgift på papper (Deposit information on paper) (Bg 140), Insättningsuppgift via Internet (Payment advice reports via internet) and Bankgiro Inbetalningar (Bankgiro Receivables) report Euro payments. The changes we are making As of 31 October 2016, Bankgirot will no longer process payment instructions in the euro currency in the services Leverantörsbetalningar (Supplier Payments) and Avgående Betalningar Bank (Pre-authorised Payments). Bankgirot will however continue to process Euro payments in Emittenutbetalningar (Dividend Payments). The following payments in Leverantörsbetalningar (LB Supplier Payments) and the currency Euro will not be processed by Bankgirot with effect from 31 October 2016: Giro transfer to bankgiro number Credit transfer without notification Credit transfer with notification The following payments in Avgående Betalningar Bank (Pre-authorised Payments) and the currency Euro will not be processed by Bankgirot with effect from 31 October 2016: Giro transfer to bankgiro number Credit transfer without notification Credit transfer with notification

Page 6 (11) As no payments in Euro will be processed by Bankgirot there will be no reports available in the currency of Euro in Bankgirot s incoming payment products with effect from 31 October 2016. Why are we making the changes? Due to new EU regulations* Bankgirot, in agreement with the participants in the Bankgiro System, has decided to remove the Euro payments functions from the Leverantörsbetalningar (Supplier Payments) payments service as well as Avgående Betalningar Bank (Preauthorised Payments). * SEPA, Single Euro Payments Area, is an initiative within Europe that aims to strengthen European integration and Europe's competitiveness internationally by means of a unified payments structure for mass payments in Euro. The European Commission has adopted a regulation that requires national payments products and formats for payments in euro in the EU to be replaced with products and formats that comply with SEPA's regulations. The regulations apply as of 31 October 2016 to those countries in the EES that do not use the euro as their national currency. will work The removal of payments in euro via Bankgirot means that the bank will offer its customers a payments solution based on the ISO 20022 XML format or other format specified by the bank. The banks customers will be using their respective bank's solution for these payments. When will the changes be made? The changes will be made as of 31 October 2016. Since May 2014, Bankgirot has been working with the banks in a banking working group, to identify measures for the removal of Euro payments from Bankgirot s services and to create a joint strategy, schedule and solution for this work. bank need to do? The removal of payments in euro via Bankgirot means that the bank needs to be able to offer its customers a payments solution based on the ISO 20022 XML format. This, in turn, can entail a need for development work. The bank's customers need to receive information about the changes and the available alternatives in good time. The changes also mean that the bank may need to change its systems and phase out the functions that support the current solution. Alternative solutions for reporting to bank customers must also be considered by the bank.

Page 7 (11) customer need to do? The changes mean that customers who currently send their euro payments via Bankgirot must instead send them directly to their bank. The banks' customers will not be able to use bankgiro numbers for payments in euro. They are also affected by the format requirements as the ISO 20022 XML message format is to be used for all euro payments. Customers who receive payments in euro may also need to make certain changes. Among other things, the information on invoices in Euro needs to be changed as it will not be possible to make Euro payments in the EES to bankgiro numbers but only to IBAN numbers. Moreover, reconciliation procedures may need to be adapted to the banks' new solutions. Software and business systems that process Euro payments to bankgiro numbers will need to be adapted to new payment flows and formats in consultation with the banks and customers. Any questions? Contact Bankgirot by e-mailing produktsupport@bankgirot.se. Bank branches should contact their central office in the first instance.

Page 8 (11) Support services Bg Avtal - Trial runs for Bankgiro payments have been removed Overview of the product Bg Avtal is an aid and an interface to bank accounts where agreements can be made about payment products, bankgiro numbers can be processed etc. For the Bankgiro Inbetalningar (Bankgiro payments) product a bank employee has the possibility of choosing different types of functions and options such as for example OCR reference control and trial runs. works today At present the bank employee can give the customer the possibility via Bg Avtal to do a trial run of the product Bankgiro Inbetalningar (Bankgiro payments) before the customer goes into production. When the trial has been activated a test period is started where Bankgirot sends a test file to the customer within 10 bank days. When the trial run period is over the bank employee needs to change the status for the connection from trial run to production in Bg Avtal. If the bank employee does not do this the trial runs will not automatically switch over to production. The choice of trial run is chosen by ticking a box in Bg Avtal for new customers of Bankgiro Inbetalningar (Bankgiro payments). The changes we are making Why are we making the changes? The box for trial runs and its functionality will be removed from Bg Avtal. As of December 2015 new customers of Bankgiro Inbetalningar (Bankgiro payments) will only be able to connect to the production directly. The trial run was created to facilitate the migration of customers that used the earlier product Inbetalningsservice OCR (Payment Services OCR) over to Bankgiro Inbetalningar Bankgiro Payments). The test period allowed the customers to receive their ordinary report files in Payment Services OCR at the same time as receiving the test files in Bankgiro Payments, with the purpose to ensure a secure and problem free transition to the new product. The function trial run has become superfluous since the Payment Service OCR was discontinued in 2013. According to information received from banks, many bank employees do not understand the difference between trial run and production and often choose trial run. This means that the bank employee connects the customer to the products believing the customer has gone into production (where files are sent continuously) but where Bankgirot stops sending files after a 10 day period. will work When will the changes be made? There will be no choice of trial run in Bg Avtal and production will be the only choice. December 2015

Page 10 (11) Skattefullmakt (Tax Authorisation) The Tax Authorisation service (Skattefullmakt) is being discontinued Overview of the product With Tax Authorisation, Corporate Tax ("F" tax) and "SA" tax can be paid automatically. works today What changes are we making? Why are we making the changes? Information on how much tax is to be paid is retrieved directly from the Swedish Tax Agency and the power of attorney applies until cancelled by the tax payer or the bank. The Tax Authorisation service will be discontinued following the last debit carried out 18 January 2016. Tax Authorisation is only used by a limited number of companies and only to processes Corporate Tax ("F" tax) and "SA" tax. By using Leverantörsbetalningar (Supplier Payments) and online banks all types of tax can be processed and therefore these services with replace Tax Authorisation. will work When will the changes be made? bank need to do? Customers who use Tax Authorisation instead need to pay their Corporate Tax ("F" tax) and "SA" tax via Leverantörsbetalningar (Supplier Payments) or their online bank. A block on new cases of Tax Authorisation was introduced on 1 September 2014. The last possible debit using Tax Authorisation is 18 January 2016. The banks need to inform their customers that use Tax Authorisation that the service will be taken away and offer another alternative. During the autumn of 2015 the banks will on an ongoing basis centrally receive information about which customers use Tax Authorisation in order for them to canvas their customers. customer need to do? The customers will via their bank receive information that Tax Authorisation will be discontinued and need to begin paying their tax via Leverantörsbetalningar (Supplier Payments) or their online bank. The last possible debit using Tax Authorisation is 18 January 2016. Any questions? Contact Bankgirot by e-mail produktsupport@bankgirot.se. Bank branches should contact their central office in the first instance.

Page 11 (11) Long-term initiatives and projects Bankgirot s future payment infrastructure In light of the changes taking place in the world around us and the trend towards more standardised payments, Bankgirot, together with participants in the Bankgiro system, is implementing a strategic initiative called Bankgirot's future payments infrastructure. The vision describes how Bankgirot will develop the payments infrastructure for mass payments in order to meet future needs and requirements. The purpose of this initiative is to create a new, modern, flexible and cost-effective infrastructure for payments in Sweden, with the possibility of extension to other regions and currencies. The work during the autumn of 2015 will be to build a precise target image of the future payment infrastructure. An agreement with participating banks about the continuation of this long-term work was made prior to the summer of 2014. Since that time Bankgirot and the participating banks have continued to investigate and develop the future offerings of Bankgirot. In parallel to the investigations by Bankgirot the banks are working together within the framework of the Swedish Bankers Association to create a Book of Rules for Swedish Credit Transfer and as a next step a similar Book of Rules for Autogiro. The work of the The Swedish Bankers Association will be a guideline for all the banks offerings with regard to content and schedule. The work this autumn about Bankgirot s future payment infrastructure is primarily directed to Bankgirot s offering of a common interbank solution for credit transfer and what the transformation from the current payment solutions to the future offering will look like. Within the services offered by Bankgirot there are possibilities for unique bank solutions and this dialogue is carried out separately with the respective bank.
