The Fund s benchmark is 100% Philippine 30-Day Special Savings Rate (net of withholding tax). The investment outlets were approved by the Board of Directors. All related party transactions are conducted on a best execution and arm s length basis. OUTLOOK AND STRATEGY. BSP adjusted policy rates an additional 25 basis points in November. It delivered a bit of good news as it lowered inflation forecasts for the coming years to within its original target of 2%-4%. Consumer prices remained elevated but inflation outlook turned more positive given decline in oil prices and appreciation of the peso. The Fund will maintain its defensive positions and keep portfolio duration short. PROSPECTIVE INVESTMENTS. The Fund s prospective investments may include securities issued or guaranteed by the Philippine government, tradable securities issued by financial institutions or private corporations, marketable instruments and loans that are traded in an organized exchange, bank deposits, similar collective investment vehicles subject to existing BSP regulations, and such other investment outlets/categories the BSP allow.
