CashLink Bill Payment Quick Reference Guide Bill Pay Home Screen The home screen of Bill Pay will provide a snapshot of your Bill Payment Activities. Rev. 07/09 Page 1
Payments Tab On the Payments tab, you can access the following functions: 1. Single Payment: Schedule individual payments to your payees. 2. Recurring Payment: Schedule a recurring payment. 3. Scheduled Transactions: Displays a list of pending transactions. 4. Transaction History: Search your bill payment transactions. 5. Calendar: A calendar display overview of your bill payments. Making Payments Classic User View Power User View 1. Click Single Payment. 2. Select type of payment for a bill, to an individual or transfer funds 3. Choose your view option Classic User (less than 50 payees) or Power User (more than 50 payees) 4. Select Payee: Check the payee(s) that you would like to pay (Classic User, click on payee in left-hand column; Power User, click on box next to payee). Click Next. 5. From Account: Select the account from which you wish to pay the bill. 6. Amount: Enter the dollar amount you would like to pay. Payments must be $1.00 or more. 7. Process Date: Enter the date you would like the payment to be scheduled. Same-day scheduled payments must be scheduled by 4PM ET. 8. Invoice/Comment: Add Invoice/Comment details that will appear on the stub attached to the check. Invoice information is available for check payments and not available for electronic payments. 9. Review your payment(s) or click Submit to pay your bill(s). Rev. 07/09 Page 3
Making a Recurring Payment 1. Click Recurring Payment. 2. Select type of payment for a bill, to an individual or transfer funds 3. Select Payee: Choose your Payee by your payee nickname. 4. Select Checking Account to Pay From: Choose Primary or another checking account. 5. Enter Payment Amount: Payments must be $1.00 or more. 6. Select Frequency, enter Memo, or Comments: The Memo field will print on the face of the check. 7. Select Recurring Start Date: The date that the first payment will process. 8. Add a Company Payee (Bill Payments) 1. On Payees Tab, Click Add a Payee. 2. Select Payee Type: A Company Use this option to add your credit card, utilities, cell phone bill, etc. An Individual Use this option to add your local repairman or even a family member A Bank or Credit Union Other than for credit cards, use this option to add your financial institution for items such as a car loan. 3. Click Go There Now. 4. Enter required payee information. Note: Account Holder Name: Enter your company or sub-company name that is paying this bill. 5. Click Next to review the payee or add additional information about the payee. 6. Click Submit to complete the process of adding the company payee. Rev. 07/09 Page 6
Add an Individual Payee Use this screen to send money electronically or by check to an individual. 1. On Payee Tab, Click Add a Payee. 2. Select Payee Type and click Go There Now. 3. Enter individual payee information. 4. Review individual payee information. 5. New individual payee confirmation. Please Note: Before payments can be initiated, your payee must complete steps after he or she receives an email. You will also receive an email, phone call, or text message to finalize this payee s setup process. Rev. 07/09 Page 7
Transfers Tab On the Bill Pay Transfers Tab, you can perform the following functions: Single Transfer: Recurring Transfer: Scheduled Transactions: Transaction History: Transfer Accounts: Calendar: Add an Outbound Transfer Account (Transfers) Use this screen to setup transfer accounts that are outside of your current financial institution. 1. On Transfers Tab, click Transfer Accounts. 2. Select Add Account. 3. Enter the Account Holder information or your company name. 4. Enter a US financial institution routing number and checking or savings account number. 5. Click submit to add the new transfer account. Rev. 07/09 Page 8
Payment Calendar Use this screen to display an overview of your bill payments. 1. On Payments Tab, click Calendar. 2. The calendar will display scheduled and processed payments. 3. Clicking on a dollar amount will reveal the details of that payment. Rev. 07/09 Page 9
Payment History Use this screen to perform searches on your Transaction History. 1. On the Payments Tab, click Transaction History. 2. Payment History Request: Enter the search criteria for your payment history. 3. Payment History Results: Click on View Details to see more information about a transaction. Rev. 07/09 Page 10
Options Tab On the Bill Pay Options Tab, you can manage the following functions: Company Profile Manage Bill Pay Accounts Manage Users Personal Profile E-Notifications Reports Manage User Screen Use this screen to manage your company s users. 1. From the list of users, click Permission Settings on the right side of the screen to manage the permissions of that user 2.
