Sauder Sports Vice- Chair Job Description Title of Position Vice- Chair Portfolio Engagement Portfolio Service Sauder Sports Summary The Vice- Chair is responsible for overseeing all activities of the committee, and ensuring a high attendance at all Sauder Sports hosted events. This individual will facilitate and lead a team to help grow the Health and Fitness movement in Sauder. Summer: 5 hours per week Time Commitment During the school year: 8-10 hours per week (15 hours during peak times) Term of Employment April 2013 April 2014 Main Responsibilities Working with the director overseeing the planning and coordination of events Building a Sauder Sports, marketing strategy with the VP Marketing Working with the Program Coordinators to effectively run a smooth event- - insuring the marketing, logistics, and scheduling are all streamlined Generating new ideas for events and cross- promotion opportunities Providing support whenever needed to all the team coordinators/members In charge of booking meeting rooms and taking minutes Provide support to Sauder REC sport teams In charge of planning 3 Sauder Sports events for the school year (With help of other team members)

This person will be the link with the CUS and program coordinators/members to facilitate reimbursements, and to request further funding.
