Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (ACN) PLENARY MEETING AGENDA 3-5 July 2018 Paris Background

The meeting is organised in the framework of the Anti-Corruption Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (ACN), a regional anti-corruption programme established under the OECD Working Group on Bribery. The ACN supports countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia 1 in their fight against corruption, by providing a regional forum for promotion of anti-corruption activities, exchange of information, elaboration of best practices and donor coordination. More information is available on the ACN website at www.oecd.org/corruption/acn. Objectives The meeting has the following objectives: to discuss, with a view to adoption, the Istanbul Anti-Corruption Action Plan Fourth Round Monitoring reports on Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine (sector evaluation) and progress reports on Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan; to launch the ACN thematic studies on Prevention of Corruption at Local Level, Confiscation and Independence of Prosecutors; to discuss the amendments to the IAP monitoring methodology, moving forward to the 5 th round of monitoring: scope and procedures; to discuss progress on implementing the fundraising strategy and the signature of the MOU between the ACN members and the OECD; to discuss the implementation of the ACN Work Programme in 2018 and the future Work Programme.
