Reason: The Request for Proposal was hosted on Cook County's website as part ofthe standard procurement process. Eight (8) actuarial consulting firms submitted responses to this RFP request. After reviewing the responses, four (4) finalists were chosen. Each of the finalists were invited for presentations and interviews, focusing on their ability to provide the following: to perform the required work within the required time frame; provide insight into the County's claim experience; a guaranteed rate commitment for the duration of the contract (3 years); compliance with MBE/WBE requirements.
