Board Comments Superintendent Palmer spoke about the recent Board Finance/Audit Committee discussion which centered on alternative financial strategies after the recent levy loss (Issue#5). Members of the Committee ( and ) commented that the District needs to further prioritize its major improvement needs due to limited resources and the recent levy failure. and then spoke about voter apathy and the need to develop a strategy to turn that around. asked the Superintendent to discuss his plan on generating additional dollars for operational and Permanent Improvement needs. Superintendent Palmer indicated the continued work of the 20/20 committee and possibly surveying the community might produce more guidance on how to proceed. In the meantime, the District will continue to focus on prioritizing spending due to lack of resources. then asked about the breadth of the community survey, and Superintendent Palmer responded the survey will encompass both short and long-term issues. Mrs. Leszynski asked Dave Kocevar to provide an update on the field house project and proposed priority capital project items. C.
