In contrast to traditional carrot and stick approaches to employee motivation, the RESPECT Model impacts the culture of an organization and leads to enduring increases in employee engagement and productivity. TPA Best Practices Discuss what to include in your service agreements, how to prepare a fully documented business plan, and how to track key performance indicators. Share best practices for charging client administration fees and how often you increase the TPA administration fees. Hiring, Training and Retention of Employees Discuss practical solutions for a wide range of employment matters, including how to handle employee issues confidently, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws, creating effective compensation structures, hiring/firing, managing employee benefits, and more. Technology and Social Media Can old dogs learn new tricks? Discuss and compare with your peers how you and your colleagues use social media, implement software training techniques and factors that play a role in your company s sales and communications. This session also allows for discussion of common technology issues all TPAs face today, including websites, success stories and funny anecdotes. PPA Restatement Full plan restatement for legislation and regulations from the final 415 regulations through WRERA are right around the corner. Share how your firm handles the restatement of plan documents. Do you rely on an outside document vendor to restate all of your documents? Do you tackle the restatement with internal staff members? Do you bring in additional staff during the restatement period? Learn how others charge for the restatement process and make this profitable. Managing Remote Employees Is a physical office necessary? Does technology allow us to dispense with paying rent? Explore the options of part time, full time, direct, leased, and other remote employees.
