CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME IN EXPORT MARKETING ON INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (DECEMBER 2018 FEBRUARY 2019) In order to upgrade the knowledge of working executives of export enterprises & with the objective to reach out to the new and potential exporters and mentor them through orientation programs, counseling sessions and individual facilitation so that they can get into international trade. It is a significant initiative towards entrepreneurship development in the field of international trade with the objective of boosting exports the Uttar Pradesh Export Promotion Council (UPEPC) jointly with Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has been offering a 3-month Certificate Program in Export Marketing on International Business commencing from December 2018. A thorough knowledge of the various facets of international business is important in the present global economic and trading environment. Intense competition in world markets, in particular, poses a challenge to executives engaged in export marketing pursuits. Unless they keep themselves abreast with the new developments, rapid changes in international business practices and innovative marketing strategies pursued by the competitors, & emerging market opportunities. OBJECTIVES The objectives of the Program are: A. Provide an overall perspective on the international business environment and economic relations. B. Imparting systematic knowledge in the modern techniques of export marketing; C. Developing analytical skills for identifying export opportunities and undertaking export marketing in countries offering export potential for wide ranging products of Indian origin; COURSE STRUCTURE The Course covers International Marketing Management, India s Foreign Trade & Policy, International Trade Logistics, Trade Procedures and Documentation and Sectoral Strategies for Exports. Export Logistics & Role of CHA Trade Procedures & Documentation SPS, TBT, NTB, Export Documentation Financial schemes, Export: Import Regulations, Letter of Credit and implication of UCP:600 rules, Currency Management, Risk Management Customs and GST procedures, Export Documentation Framework, Export Sales Contract, Management, Processing and Execution of Export Order and EDI Related to Customs Clearance. 5 Secretoral Strategies Secretoral Strategies for Exports will for Exports deal with macro and micro issues related to exports and it will cover sector/market specific opportunities and its strategies focused at enhancing exports.

Preparation & Execution of Export Business Plan METHOD OF COURSE /INSTRUCTION This certificate program, with an intake of 20 participants for batch, is intended to enable the new and prospective exporters to learn the essentials of export import business from the comfort in class room. The sessions shall be followed up by question answer sessions where they can address their concerns with the reputed experts. The total duration of the program will be 24 sessions of 2-3 hours each.
