Note: It is recommended that you save this in your Favorites. The Employee Self-Service log-in page opens. Enter your Employee ID (five-digit number). Enter your Password. Click Sign-In. Open Enrollment Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to maintain or modify your benefit choices. To continue participating in the Flexible Spending Accounts next year. (Note: You must reenroll in these programs during the Open Enrollment period, if you wish to be enrolled for the 2018 benefit year.) You will be able to review the cost of each benefit in the Enrollment Summary section of the page. Open Enrollment Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to maintain or modify your benefit choices. To continue participating in the Flexible Spending Accounts program next year. (Note: You must reenroll in these programs during the Open Enrollment period, if you wish to be enrolled for the 2018 benefit year.) The Edit button will appear next to any benefit option that is available for modification. The Edit button allows you to review your plan details or select a new plan altogether. The Elections Summary table summarizes estimated costs for your current or new benefits choices. Important: The Election Summary is a Per Pay Period view. So Your Cost would be for either 52 or 26 pays according to you pay schedule. I Have No Changes The I Have No Changes button finalizes your current benefits as your selection for the upcoming benefits year and you will retain your current benefits coverage for the 2018 benefits year. If you try to Update Election without making a selection you will receive the following error messages. To review you current benefits selection. There are errors with your enrollment which are noted below. Make your corrections, and then select the Update Elections button to save your changes. You have made a selection. Selecting Unreimburses Med/Den FSA option If you elect to participate in the Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA there are a few thing to keep in mind. Your annual pledge amount must not exceed $500.00 which is the maximum amount allowed for this plan. Enter you Annual Pledge amount. Click the Worksheet link to calculate your pay-period deduction. When you are ready to Submit you selection changes. Select the Update Elections button to store your choice until you are ready to submit your final enrollment on the Enrollment Summary. If you decide not to go through with the change you made you can choose the Discard Changes button Select the Discard Changes button to ignore all entries made on this page and return to the Enrollment Summary User Guide ~ 11 October 2017

If your Election was No, I do not want to enroll This means You have chosen to Waive coverage. Your Coverage effective date will be listed under Notes. Once submitted, this choice will take effect on 01/01/2018. If everything looks good Click the Update Elections button. Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA If chose to enroll in Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA you will see the following You will see a summary of Your Choice listed. You have chosen to enroll in the Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA plan with an annual pledge of $$$. Your approximate per-pay-period contribution will be $$. Your Coverage effective date will be listed under Notes. Once submitted, this choice will take effect on 01/01/2018. No Coverage Change: If you elected to Waive coverage that will be reflected in the Enrollment Summary table. Because you waived your Benefits there is no cost to you. The Election Summary box will show $0.00 amount. If everything is as you wish Click the Submit button. Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA $500.00: Your New benefit coverage Unreimbursed Med/Den FSA is reflected in the Enrollment Summary table. New Castle County Employee Self-Service User Guide for Open Enrollment 2018 Submitting Your 2018 Benefit Elections Cancel Benefit Choices You re almost finish. The Cancel is your last chance to make changes before submitting your benefit choices. You will return to the Enrollment Summary page, were you can make change to your benefits choices. Select the Cancel button if you are not ready to submit your choices and wish to return to the Enrollment Summary page. Important: Your enrollment will not be complete until you Submit your choices to the Benefits Department. To finalize your benefit choices you must press the Submit button at the bottom of the page. By submitting your benefits choices you are authorizing the company to take deductions from your paycheck to pay for your benefit costs. You also authorize the Benefits Department to send necessary person information to you selected providers to initiate and support your coverage. Once your enrollment benefits choices are processed you may not make any further benefits changes until the next Open Enrollment period or qualified family status change.
