A system used to transfer funds electronically between the accounts of businesses and individuals or businesses and businesses. ACH automates common transactions such as depositing payroll checks, paying bills, making purchases, and transferring funds. It replaces the slower and more cumbersome paper based system of checks, drafts, deposit and withdrawal slips, and other forms of money transfers. The ARP (Account Reconciliation Plan) statement is used to reconcile activity for your company's bank account. An ARP statement is produced for each ARP statement cycle. Your company specifies the cycle to use and other options when you are set up for the ARP service. For a description of the ARP statement sections and optional ARP reports, see About ARP Statements and Reports. Average Daily Ledger Average of all balance fields.
