Variable universal life combines the advantages of a range of investment options with tax-favored life insurance. The owner can transfer funds* between subaccounts with no tax consequences, plus the plan offers automatic portfolio rebalancing, if elected, and dollar cost averaging options at no additional charge. Accumulator VUL (Client Brochure: Form 5810) Preferred Elite Nontobacco risk classification available. Lower cost of insurance rates and more competitive cash values in key market segments. Accumulator Variable Universal Life Variable Product Series Building your future with a secure partner SM Kansas City Life Insurance Company No-cost Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit (GMDB) rider in force to age 65. ALI provides inexpensive term coverage and allows greater accumulation without forcing death benefit up. Great for competitive situations. No maturity date. Policy continues past age 100. Two death benefit tests GPT and CVAT offered at issue. Option C coverage provides death benefit equal to specified amount plus total premiums paid. Lifetime Guaranteed Minimum Death Benefit rider provides a lifetime secondary guarantee without any asset allocation restrictions. An amount up to 10 percent of the contract value may be withdrawn annually without a surrender charge (one payment election per contract year). Contract owner determines the length of time the current interest rate is guaranteed: Five, seven or 10 years. Market value adjustment (not applicable in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah and West Virginia). Annual bonus of 0.25 percent for contracts with $50,000 or more on each contract anniversary. Annual administrative fee of $30 is waived if the contract value is at least $10,000 or if $600 of premium has been paid during the year. Century II variable annuities (VA) are individual flexible premium deferred contracts that allow for a single premium payment. They combine the advantages of a range of investment options with the tax-deferred advantages of an annuity. The owner can transfer funds a between subaccounts with no tax consequences, and all plans offer automatic portfolio rebalancing, dollar cost averaging and systematic partial surrender options at no additional charge. The Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefit (GMWB) rider is available on all variable annuity products.
