The lump sum and monthly income covers below are available with Asteron Life. Life Cover pays a lump sum of money if the insured person dies or becomes terminally ill. Accidental Death Cover pays a lump sum of money if the insured person dies as a result of an accident. Trauma Recovery Cover certain medical procedure. Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) Cover disabled due to sickness or injury. pays a lump sum of money if the insured person is diagnosed with a serious medical condition or undergoes a Cancer Cover pays a lump sum of money if the insured person is diagnosed with cancer. pays a lump sum of money if the insured person becomes totally and permanently Income Protection Cover pays a regular monthly benefit if the insured person is unable to work and earn an income because of sickness or injury. It is designed to meet essential living costs and financial commitments. Mortgage and Living Cover pays a regular monthly payment if the insured person is unable to work because of a sickness or injury. It is designed to pay for the mortgage or essential living costs. Workability Cover pays a regular monthly benefit if the insured person is unable to work and earn an income because of sickness or injury. It is designed to help restore the insured person s ability to work, and can also provide assistance with rehabilitation and retraining. Business Disability Cover pays a monthly benefit to help a business replace lost revenue or hire replacement staff if the insured key person is unable to work because of sickness or injury. Farmers Disability Cover pays a monthly benefit if the insured person needs to take time off work on the farm due to sickness or injury. This cover will pay a benefit of up to 35% of the farm s turnover up to a maximum of $10,000 per month.
