Member for Rushen (Mr Speaker) to ask the Minister for Education and Children For the purposes of s.29 of the Education Act 2001, and for the academic year 2015-16: a) how many instances there were of failing to attend regularly; b) how many prosecutions were brought to the courts; c) how many fixed penalty notices were (i) issued; (ii) paid; (iii) written off; and (iv) disposed of in another manner (and if so, how); and d) whether a fixed penalty notice issued under s.29a of the Act would have to be disclosed on any check with the Disclosure and Barring Service? 4
