A Letter From Our CEO Gateway rounded out another banner year in, in fact, we continue to break our own records! Our retail volume grew 20% to $3.5B despite the industry being down 15%. Our servicing portfolio broke the $15B mark, and our Correspondent Division set their own record with $1.99B. We continue to grow our national footprint by adding Idaho and North Dakota as newly licensed states, bringing on over 600 new team members, and getting approved as a Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer. Gateway is a well-managed, well-oiled machine with a solid infrastructure in place and great future ahead. Kevin Stitt We continue to fully commit to our core purpose of strengthening families. In, Gateway branches donated over $500,000 in their local communities, and in May, we committed to an annual partnership with Folds of Honor. Retail Update Gateway s Retail Division continued to experience market growth and record production in. Total annual volume for loan originations grew to $3.51B, a 20% increase over. Loan Originators shattered individual production records that required adding a new level to our Presidents Club, $100M Ridiculousness Level. We continued expanding our footprint across the country by adding 52 new branches, 2 newly licensed states, and bringing on 256 knowledgeable loan originators and 66 experienced branch managers. These new branches along with our established branches across the country closed 10% more units in than the previous year allowing more customers to experience Gateway. Gateway remains true to our core values of being Growth Oriented, Street Smart, Team Players. In an effort to support our new Loan Originators and Branch Managers, we hired an onboarding staff and created a new onboarding process. In addition to this team, we added a Branch Implementation team to ensure our new branches have the tools they need to hit the ground running. brought the announcement of a partnership with Blend, an innovative technology company that provides origination application software. Gateway s state-of-the-art online application, LinkStep, will roll out in 2018. This intuitive technology will help close loans faster, is mobile friendly, and customizable to enhance our customers experience. We are looking forward to another great year in 2018. Correspondent Update Gateway s Correspondent Lending Division continues to advance as one of the premier correspondent aggregators in the industry, closing out another successful year in. Increasing in both client market share and 65 new client relationships, turned out to be another record-breaking production year, highlighting Gateway as a Top 25 Correspondent Investor two years running. One of correspondent lending s key success components in was the focused approach on one of Gateway s strategic core values, Growth Oriented. This approach to growing and developing our team internally played a pivotal role in the conduit s successful performance last year by recruiting first-class talent in our salesforce and promoting internally to align with projected growth in operations. Servicing Update Gateway experienced another record year in with our servicing portfolio reaching $15B, a 27% increase from, and we gained 25,000 loans. Gateway remains among the top 100 mortgage servicers in America. In an effort to continue Winning Customers for Life, we saved an astounding 277 homes from foreclosure through loan modifications. also saw two natural disasters that impacted over 10,000 customers in Texas and Florida. The servicing team acted quickly and compassionately to help those customers, including making over 40,000 outbound calls and conducting on-site disaster relief. Last year was a year of outstanding improvements and achievements for our team as we continued to expand our infrastructure to better serve our customers. In June, Gateway s customer care department received one of the most prestigious awards in the customer service and support industry, Call Center of Excellence by BenchmarkPortal. The award recognizes that Gateway s call center is a leader based on a certain set of criteria within its industry and in comparison to its peers. Our customer care team continues to achieve customer satisfaction and first call resolution scores in the mid ninety percentile range. In addition, Gateway launched an email survey program in order to solicit more feedback on how to improve Gateway s mortgage offerings from both the retail and servicing efforts. In October, we implemented a more robust payment portal providing more customerfriendly, convenient payment options.
