1 Humanitarian Situation Overview in Syria (HSOS): Sub-district actsheets Governorate Introduction This multi-sector needs assessment is part of a monthly data collection exercise which aims to gather information about needs and the humanitarian situation inside Syria. The factsheets present information collected in ebruary 2016, referring to the situation in January UNO line ebruary 2016 Rural amascus These factsheets present information at the community/village level for each sub-district in governorate*. Selected key indicators for the following sectors are included in the factsheets: displacement, shelter, NIs, health, food security, WASH, education. The factsheets do not cover the entire range of indicators gathered in the questionnaire. REACH conducted a rapid assessment of humanitarian needs of recently arrived IPs in, which can be used as an update to the information presented in these factsheets. The rapid assessment is available here: rapid needs assessment, 26 ebruary 2016 Al-Khashniyyeh P: click on sub-district to jump to factsheet Methodology and limitations These findings are based on data collected remotely (in Jordan, Lebanon, Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Turkey) from Key Informants residing in their community of origin in Syria.
