4 OUR EXPERIENCE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF INVESTMENT IN AN EAST ANGLIAN INDUSTRIAL PLANT Our client was a property developer introducing a portfolio of investors to purchase and hold an East Anglian industrial site. We established a structure to act as a joint venture (JV) with another investment house and were involved in arranging primary and mezzanine lending. Our client subsequently bought out the JV partner, requiring our assistance with a restructure and refinancing. We also helped the client sell part of the plot a few years later. ARRANGING THE SALE OF A MULTI-MILLION POUND COMMERCIAL PROPERTY IN CENTRAL LONDON Our client wanted to exit a unit trust structure that owned a 70m central London commercial property that had an international law firm as a sitting tenant. We identified a select group of six potential investors that we knew would be interested. All six bid for the property, which was sold to a Far Eastern investor for 77.2m.

5 ESTABLISHING A GUERNSEY FUND TO INVEST IN GERMAN PROPERTY We worked with our client to establish and administer a regulated Guernsey closed-ended fund to invest in German commercial real estate, including shopping centres, office buildings, retail parks and logistics warehouses. The fund was managed by a globally renowned investment manager and had a portfolio of 56 properties with a value of 400m, held through a number of Luxembourg and German SPVs. When the properties were sold, our Luxembourg office was able to assist with the liquidation of the Luxembourg SPVs. We ve been exceptionally pleased with the level of client service delivery from the real estate team.
