Use Certified Software Instant Validation Log into Web Service Immediate Status of Return View your NOA Your 2016 return was assessed and a refund of $xx will be sent on Month day, 2017.

9 Manage online mail Signing up is easy here are four ways individuals can register to receive online mail from the CRA: 1. log in to My Account and select Manage online mail ; 2. use the MyCRA or MyBenefits CRA mobile app; 3. enter an address when they file their taxes by paper or online; or 4. provide their address to a tax preparer when filling out the form T183. The CRA would like to partner with the CPA to increase take-up
10 Payments Upcoming for 2017: Adding Debit MasterCard to My Payment PADs and My Payment will be available in the new Mobile App for Small Businesses Streamlining remittance vouchers
11 Payments on Filing The CRA has made several improvements to expedite the processing of personal income tax returns. Returns filed online are now assessed so quickly that the process is usually completed before the payment can be processed! This means that any payments on filing are unlikely to be reflected on your client s Notice of Assessment Payments would not be displayed in the new Express NOA service. Please share this information with your clients and let them know they can check their online banking to confirm their payment to the CRA or by logging in through My Account to verify their account balance.
12 New T183

As of February 2017: Authenticate identity through the CRA call centre Secure access code sent by within minutes Access CRA portals immediately Ease of access to secure digital space
14 Account alerts New fraud prevention measure! Notifies you by when an address has changed, banking information for direct deposit has changed, or if mail sent to you by the Canada Revenue Agency was returned. Access identity fraud-prevention features

Canadians can now access these two accounts through a single secure session, without having to login and validate their identity again at the other organization. With a CRA My Account, users can view and manage their tax and benefit information With a My Service Canada Account, users can view their and manage their CPP, OAS and EI information
17 Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) The Canada Revenue Agency s CVITP works in partnership with community organizations and volunteers who make tax preparation services available in their communities Last year, volunteers helped 700K Canadians do their taxes and receive the benefits and credits to which they are entitled CRA is open to discussion with the CPA on how we can work together to promote the CVITP
