3 2 LGC/S3/08/11/1 The n-domestic Rating (Telecommunications and Canals) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2008, (SSI 2008/84) Meeting: Date circulated to members: 17 March 2008 : This Order amends article 2B of the n-domestic Rating (Telecommunications and Canals) (Scotland) Order 1995 so that the unbundled local loop which British Telecommunications plc lets or licenses to any person is treated as occupied by that company from 31st March It makes permanent the temporary provisions introduced by article 2(4) of the n-domestic Rating (Telecommunications and Canals) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2006.
4 3 LGC/S3/08/11/2 The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Avian Influenza) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2008 (SSI 2008/74) Meeting: Date circulated to members: 9 April 2008 : This Order amends Part 25A of Schedule 1 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order Part 25A grants planning permission in respect of certain development which is necessary for the purposes of housing poultry and other captive birds to protect them from avian influenza. Where Part 25A applies, no specific application for planning permission is needed. Planning permission is granted by Part 25A subject to conditions requiring notification to the planning authority and removal of the development once the need for it has ended or, following changes made by article 2(2), on, or as soon as practicable after, 26th March 2009, whichever is the earlier.
5 3 LGC/S3/08/11/3 The n-domestic Rating (Unoccupied Property) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2008, (SSI 2008/83) Meeting: Date circulated to members: 17 March 2008 : These Regulations amend the n-domestic Rating (Unoccupied Property) (Scotland) Regulations 1994 to exclude lands and heritages owned by a company or limited liability partnership in administration or a limited liability partnership which is being wound up from the lands and heritages prescribed under the (Scotland) Act The effect of this exclusion is that no rates shall be payable in respect of unoccupied lands and heritages owned by such a company or limited liability partnership or, where such lands and heritages are partly occupied and the rateable value has been apportioned between the occupied and unoccupied parts, in respect of the unoccupied part.
6 3 LGC/S3/08/11/4 The n-domestic Rates (Levying) (Scotland) Regulations 2008, (SSI 2008/85) Meeting: Date circulated to members: 17 March 2008 : These Regulations make provision for the amount payable in certain circumstances as non-domestic rates in respect of non-domestic subjects in Scotland. They apply only to the financial year The non-domestic rate for subjects not covered by these Regulations is fixed by Order made under the (Scotland) Act For the year , the rate is fixed by S.S.I. 2008/32.
