22 Fraud Red Flags Expenses Expenses claimed with ambiguous descriptions or without breakdown; Conflicting documents are provided for reimbursement; Expenses claimed with massive fixed amount or handwritten receipts; Large amount of expenses claimed at period ends; Unusual number of claims for group meals; The nature of expenses are not in line with the claimer s work scope. 22
