2 The purpose of this whitepaper is to provide a brief summary of the CoinPulse exchange (the Exchange ), CPEX Token (the Token ) and various features surrounding the exchange and the token. Abstract CPEX is an ERC20 token. The core use of CPEX will be as a utility token for its upcoming community supported cryptocurrency exchange - CoinPulse. CPEX will essentially represent a discount coupon and the holder will receive up to 70% discount when applied towards payment of transaction fees on CoinPulse Exchange as further discussed in this whitepaper. CPEX has a total supply of 100 million of which 63 million will be used to swap for our original token (EBCH) discussed further below, 20 million will be issued to the users as a sign up bonus upon registration on CoinPulse Exchange and remaining supply will be used to offer rewards for several contests to be run on the exchange s platform. ebitcoincash (Symbol: EBCH) is an ERC20 token which derives its initial inspiration from Bitcoin Cash. At its inception, Bitcoincash was freely distributed to all Bitcoin holders. In keeping with the spirit of Bitcoin Cash, EBCH was also freely distributed. This token was airdropped to the community on November 5, No ICO was conducted and no money was collected upon distribution of this token. This token is currently listed on several exchanges which can be found on This token is being rebranded as CPEX token noted above and will be swapped to CPEX tokens starting July 1, The swap will remain open until more than 90% of the tokens are swapped or September 30, 2018, whichever comes first. If 90% of the tokens are not swapped, then period can be further extended with advance notification to be published on our various channels of communication. CoinPulse is the first cryptocurrency exchange that is completely based around and supported by its community. It will offer CPEX token holders exclusive discounts along with multiple trading options that include instant buy/sell, orders books for different cryptocurrency pairings, and other advanced features like trailing stop-loss and multi-sig wallets. 1

4 Issues Ever since the advent of the Blockchain technology, people have been migrating from fiat-based financial systems to Blockchain-based financial systems. The initially slow adoption rate of the Blockchain technology has recently been increasing at a rapid pace. During this year alone, the cryptocurrency market capitalization has increased from $7 Billion USD in January 2017 to $500 Billion USD in December Moreover, cryptocurrency trading volume exceeded stock trading volume in Currently, existing cryptocurrency exchanges offer a highly automatable way to match the supply and demand of a given cryptocurrency. Traditionally, this feature is combined with order execution, which allows orders to be created, executed, and canceled at a central source. In the spirit of decentralization, such exchanges have been redesigned for blockchains. However, deploying an exchange on a blockchain presents several constraints. Executing code on a blockchain incurs a cost, so an automated order-cancel-order cycle quickly becomes expensive and defeats the strength of a centralized exchange as a high performance, automatable matching system. Since that matching algorithm is running on the blockchain, a party placing orders incurs an execution cost that increases substantially with the number of orders executed when a party wants to buy cryptocurrencies in large quantities. However, a large order cannot be placed on an exchange without influencing the price of the cryptocurrency. This makes placing a large order uneconomical for both the buyer and the seller of a large block of cryptocurrencies. For investors who place small orders, the exchange commission is a big factor in affecting their profitability, which may deter them from day-trading in cryptocurrencies. According to Exchange War ( the top 30 cryptocurrency exchanges charge an average of 0.2% trading fees for both makers and takers. This has a significant impact on traders profit margins, so CoinPulse will provide an option to its traders to reduce their trading fees to 0.06% (see the following pages for further discussion), so its traders can maximize their profits. It is our belief that the trend of rapid increase in the number of use cases implementing smart contracts will continue into the future leading to more mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. We believe this growing adoption will also increase the need for community-supported exchange services as the holders of these cryptocurrencies will inevitably want to trade them on an exchange which has the support of a loyal community. Since the initial distribution of tokens, it has been our goal to build a loyal community by offering free tokens, deep discounts, and referral commissions, and continuing to work towards improving the overall user experience. 3

5 CoinPulse Exchange Introduction We are hard at work on the CoinPulse Exchange! Our dedicated team members want to bring you the most value possible for being a CPEX token holder! CPEX is no ordinary token and our Cryptocurrency exchange will be no ordinary exchange. The CoinPulse Exchange will be an integrated dual exchange, which will combine both Instant Exchange and Advanced Exchange. Instant Exchange will be designed for quick buy and sell orders for those who wish to execute a quick simple trade. Advanced Exchange will be designed for those who want advanced trading features using order books to place different order types such as Limit, Market, Stop/Stop-Limit and Trailing stop-loss. The trading pairs on the CoinPulse Exchange will be dynamically managed from the Exchange s back-end. The Exchange will be able to add new trading pairs, set up dynamic fees for each individual pair, and provide several other options including marking certain pairs as favorites. For each trading pair, the exchange will display the following information: the type of cryptocurrency, the daily transaction volume of the chosen cryptocurrency, and the price increase/decrease over the last 24 hours along with the dynamic trading chart. The trade will take place automatically based on the orders available on the exchange in the real time. The differences among various types of orders to be available on the exchange are outlined below: LIMIT ORDER: The Limit order will automatically execute once a price match occurs. Otherwise, it will continue as an open order until it expires. To place the limit order, a user selects the pair and enters the amount and the maximum (for buying) or minimum (for selling) price. MARKET ORDER: The Market order will instantly execute based on an aggregate pricing algorithm. The price is generated by aggregating orders from the exchange. A user selects the pair and enters the amount. The trading price will automatically be provided by the system. This order is instantly accepted by the exchange once the user selects the pair, enters the amount, and confirms. STOP-LIMIT ORDERS: A stop-limit order is an order to place a regular buy or sell order that will execute when the highest bid or lowest ask reaches a specified price. This limit is often referred to as the "stop. This can be an extremely helpful tool for protecting profits or minimizing losses. The stop-limit box has three inputs: Stop - think of this as the "trigger price." If you place a stop-limit order to sell, it will turn into a regular limit order when the highest bid drops to or below the stop. If you place a stoplimit order to buy, it will turn into a regular limit order when the lowest ask rises to or exceeds the stop. Limit - this is the same as the "Price" on a regular buy or sell order. Once your stop-limit order has been triggered by the highest bid or lowest ask reaching your stop price, it turns into a buy or sell order for the price you enter in the limit field. Amount - this is same as the "Amount" on a regular buy or sell order. It indicates the amount of cryptocurrencies you wish to buy or sell should your stop-limit order be triggered. TRAILING STOP-LOSS ORDERS: One of the most impressive features the CoinPulse will offer is an innovatively designed Automatic, or Trailing Stop Loss feature: This a powerful, hard to find feature 4

6 that will let you set a stop order that will be automatically adjusted each time the market moves 20% from the price that was started at. There will be a standard stop loss with an optional checkbox that will trigger the Trailing Stop feature. An example would be if you want to sell an asset only if it goes down 10% from the current price, you set a regular Stop Limit as such. When you check the Trailing Stop option, the order will execute as usual at the price you set it if the asset then goes down to that 10% threshold, but if the market first goes up by 20%, the Stop Limit will change by 20% also. Each time the market goes up by 20% increments, your sell price protection (Stop Limit) also goes up by 20%, thereby letting you automatically take advantage of the market moving in your favor without having to readjust the Stop Limit to benefit from the overall increase in the asset price.there are too many other features to list them all here, but you will be able to see for yourself this June! 7 Features Instant Buy/Sell: Just select your trade, enter the amount, confirm, and you are done. Advanced Exchange Limit, Market and Stop Limit and Trailing stop loss: We will offer market, limit, stop/stop limit and trailing stop loss order types along with dynamic fee assessments for precision and versatility. Coin and Token Vote In: CoinPulse will add tokens monthly, based upon the highest number of votes from the community. Security: The CoinPulse development team is treating security with utmost importance. The team plans to implement many different methods to ensure that all cryptocurrency assets remain safe and sound such as two-factor authentication, KYC, verifications, multi-sig wallets, and maintaining a cold storage to store at least 90% of the cryptocurrency assets held on the exchange by its users. Simple and user friendly: CoinPulse will have a clean easy-to-use user interface that will be simple enough for anyone to understand yet powerful enough for the experienced trader. Referral program: CoinPulse is offering 30% of all the fees collected from your referral s trades in the asset they were collected in. Discounted trading: You get a significant discount of 70% in trading fees when you use your CPEX tokens to pay for them. 8 Revenue Streams Exchange Fee: CoinPulse will initially charge a 0.2% fee per trade. Other variations will be subsequently introduced, including maker-taker, volume based tiers and $0 fee promotions. However, this trading fee is drastically reduced if you pay the trading fee using the CPEX token. See Privileges below for more information. Withdrawal Fee: CoinPulse will charge a small fee for withdrawals. Listing Fee: CoinPulse will select innovative cryptocurrencies to be listed on the exchange, however, there may be a fee associated with those listings. Certain cryptocurrencies will be listed for free based on their merits and voting by the community. 7

10 Privileges Discounted Trading Fees CPEX token holders will be eligible for a huge reduction in trading fees when they use the CPEX tokens to pay for any trading fees. When using the CPEX token, trading fees are reduced by 70%. The amount is automatically calculated and then deducted from your CPEX balance. This discount is applicable on any trading pair and not just on CPEX trades. Example: If you are trading in the ETH/BTC pair, you are required to pay 0.1 ETH (0.20%) as transaction fees if you paid the transaction fees in either ETH or BTC, but you will be required to pay only 0.03 ETH (conversion will take place at CPEX/ETH market price) if you pay the transaction fees using CPEX tokens. Referral Commissions When you refer new members, you will receive a commission of 30% of the proceeds from all fees generated from your referrals trades. The commission you receive from the referral program will initially be set at a rate of 30%, which will be adjusted in any direction from time to time with an advance notification on the exchange s website and the exchange s other channels of communication. The commission amount will be instantly sent in real-time to your CoinPulse account as your referral completes each trade and will be paid to you in the same type of cryptocurrency the original fee was paid in. 11 The Token Introduction CPEX is based on the Ethereum blockchain and hence has a speed of processing transactions of only 15 seconds. It also has a fixed supply of 100 million, which will never change. CPEX also stands on its own as its value is derived from the project it supports (CPEX will be used as a core token on CoinPulse, cryptocurrency exchange to be launched by its developer team). CPEX token is a token rebranded from EBCH token. EBCH token is currently traded on Forkdelta, Etherdelta and Stocks.Exchange. Once CoinPulse Exchange is launched in June 2018, EBCH tokens will be swapped to CPEX tokens in the ratio of 3 CPEX tokens for each EBCH token swapped. There will be no Initial Currency Offering (ICO), so no ETH, BTC or Fiat will be accepted for initial distribution of CPEX tokens.
