New field viz., Date of Birth (DOB) in respect of individual clients has been incorporated in the Client Maintenance module of DPM system. Participant shall be required to capture reason (codes) for carrying out the client modification and client closure of demat accounts. In order to capture permitted exceptions in respect of multiple clients having Same Mobile number or Address in the demat accounts, new flag viz., Family Flag has been incorporated alongside Mobile Number and Address in respect of All holders in the Client maintenance module for Individual depository accounts. Additionally, search facility has been provided on edpm and Local DPM system for Participants to check clients having Same Mobile number/ addresses captured in the depository system.

3 3 Participants which have already opened the first House Account as Margin Account, in that case while opening the second House account Participants will now be able to select the type/subtypes except as Margin Account and selected type and subtype will be applicable for the remaining house accounts opened by Participants. Facility to Search Delivery Instructions Slip (DIS) on the basis of serial number has been incorporated in the Local DPM system (Ref: Circular Nos. NSDL/POLICY/2015/0068 dated August 6, 2015 and NSDL/POLICY/2015/0074 dated August 21, 2015) Training Programme for Participants: NCDO/NISM training / certification programmes for Participants To facilitate officials of Participants to prepare and appear for NISM-Series VI Depository Operations Certification Examination (DOCE), NSDL conducted four training programmes in August 2015 at Bangalore, Chennai & Kolkata which were attended by 100 officials of Participants. CPE Training Programme for Participants NSDL, an approved NISM Accreditated Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Provider offers CPE training programmes viz. Depository Operations, Mutual Fund Distributors, Currency Derivatives, SORM, RTA-Corporate & SIC for eligible associated persons of Participants. In August 2015, NSDL conducted five such training programmes at various locations viz., Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Rajkot which were attended by more than 70 officials of Participants. KYC Training Programme for Participants In August 2015, NSDL conducted a KYC requirements for Account Opening training programme at New Delhi which was attended by 25 officials of Participant. The program focuses on latest developments viz., procedure for opening various depository accounts, BSDA, RGESS, etc., to facilitate efficient functioning of depository operations of Participants.
