1 Are You Ready to Retire? We have developed the following checklist to help you identify the areas where you need to concentrate your efforts. A checklist is an excellent way to organize and prepare for your retirement. The subject areas may include: Personal matters Financial considerations Legal affairs Housing options Health matters Free time activities Emotional effects Please read the questions and indicate whether you are currently taking action on the issue, plan to work on it, or have not yet looked into it. You should review this checklist on a periodic basis to make sure that you are making progress in achieving your retirement plan.
