Please review this information carefully and save it for future reference. This Credit Defense Platinum Service Guide (Service Guide) will help you understand the features and benefits of the Credit Defense Platinum service. This Service Guide amends your Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. What is debt cancellation? Credit Defense Platinum is a debt cancellation service. This service will cancel debt owed on your account if any of the covered events listed in this document happen to you or your joint cardholder (if joint account). Except for the benefit due to loss of life, the benefit payment is a fixed amount based on the statement immediately following the date of the event, whichever is the larger of: 4% of the New Balance or the Minimum Payment, plus the Credit Defense Platinum fee. If you are approved for a loss of life benefit, the New Balance on the credit card statement immediately following the date of death will be cancelled. Using the service and having debt cancelled on your account will not negatively affect your credit rating and using the service will not negatively affect the status of your Wells Fargo Credit Card account. The cost is 39 cents for each $100 of the New Balance on your monthly credit card statement. For example: New Balance on statement $ $2000 divided by $100 equals multiplied by $0.39 equals $7.80 You can cancel your enrollment in this optional service at any time. Just call us at , Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. 30-day review period Your satisfaction with the service is important to us. Should you decide this program is not for you, simply cancel your service within 30 days of your effective date of August 17, 2015 and you will receive a credit for any fees billed to your account. Receiving a refund of Credit Defense fees will shorten your protection period by the number of months of refunded fees received. You are not eligible for benefits for losses that occur outside your protection period

4 How to request benefits Call us to request a benefit at , Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. When you call, we will take down some basic information and then mail the benefit request form to you. Allow 5 to 7 business days to receive the form in the mail. Just follow the steps on the form and send it back to us. While your benefit request is being processed, please remember to keep paying any amount owed on your account. If approved for a benefit, we will notify you in writing. If you qualify for additional benefits for involuntary unemployment, disability, or hospitalization, we may require supporting documentation. If we do not receive this information promptly, your benefit approval and any future benefit payments may be delayed. If denied for a benefit, we will notify you in writing. Call Us: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time Benefit amount For all benefits except loss of life, the benefit payment is a fixed amount based on the statement immediately following the date of the event, whichever is the larger of: 4% of the New Balance or the Minimum Payment, plus the Credit Defense Platinum fee. If the balance on the statement immediately following the date of the event is zero or a credit balance, there will be no benefit payment provided. For example, if you became disabled, were eligible for a benefit and the balance on your next statement was $1,000 and the Credit Defense Platinum fee was $3.90, your benefit amount would be calculated as follows: $1,000 balance x 4% = $40 + $3.90 Credit Defense fee = $43.90 Benefit Payment Number of benefit payments For disability, involuntary unemployment, or hospitalization, you are eligible for up to 12 monthly benefit payments. For family leave of absence, you are eligible for up to 3 monthly benefit payments. In the event of auto or pet expenses of $250 or greater, or should you move to a new address, you are eligible for one benefit payment for each event per calendar year. The benefit payment will not be for the total of the expense provided by you. In the event of loss of life, your account will be credited with a one-time benefit payment equal to the New Balance on the credit card statement immediately following the date of death, plus payments made on that statement, excluding Credit Defense benefit payments. If you report these events to us more than 60 days from the date the event occurred, the first benefit payment, if approved, will include any benefit payments due from the event date to the date the benefit is approved. Any additional payments you may qualify for will be paid monthly, as proof is received, up to the event maximum. Because the benefit payment is a fixed amount based on the credit card statement immediately following the date of the event, it may not cover the current Minimum Payment due on your statement each month during the benefit period. If the benefit amount is less than the Minimum Payment, it is your responsibility to pay any amounts not covered by the benefit amount (such as without limitation any additional purchases, cash advances, or interest rate increases), to ensure the Minimum Payment is paid on your account. For involuntary unemployment, disability, or hospitalization benefit protection, there is no limit to the number of times you can request a new benefit for events with different dates of loss in a calendar year. If you are approved for multiple benefit requests, you may see multiple benefit payments on your statement.

5 Involuntary unemployment If you lose your job involuntarily and are out of work, you may request a benefit under this service. To qualify for this benefit, you must have been employed for a minimum of 90 days as a permanent employee by someone other than yourself, a family member or a member of your household at the time of your unemployment. Your loss of employment can be caused by termination, general strike, layoff, a unionized labor dispute, or a lockout. Out of work? Call and request your benefits. To qualify for a benefit due to involuntary unemployment, you must: effective August 15, 2017, notify us within 24 months of the date you became unemployed by calling the Customer Care Team; have been employed for a minimum of 90 days as a permanent employee at the time of unemployment; register with your state unemployment office or job service, and provide a copy of your unemployment benefit check stub or benefit statement as proof of registration; in the event of a strike, labor dispute or lockout, a union representative must sign a form specifying the situation involving the unemployment; not be self-employed or retired at the time of unemployment; complete and return the benefit request forms to continue timely processing of your monthly benefits; and meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your The date of involuntary unemployment must occur while you are enrolled in the service. account until we notify you that your benefit request has been approved. To qualify for a benefit due to disability, you must: effective August 15, 2017, notify us within 24 months of the date you became disabled by calling the Customer Care Team; be disabled due to sickness or injury; be under the continuous care of a physician or licensed health care practitioner who will verify disability in order for the benefit to continue; complete and return the forms required by us for the initial proof of disability; complete and return the benefit request forms required by us for continuing proof of your disability to ensure timely processing of your monthly benefits; and meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your The disability must begin while you are enrolled in the service. account until we notify you that your benefit request has been approved

6 Hospitalization If you are admitted to the hospital overnight, you may request a benefit under this service. Hospitalized overnight? Call and request your benefits. To qualify for a benefit due to hospitalization, you must: effective August 15, 2017, notify us within 24 months of the first date of hospitalization by calling the Customer Care Team; be admitted to the hospital overnight; complete and return the forms required by us for the initial proof of hospitalization; complete and return the benefit request forms required by us to ensure timely processing of your monthly benefits; and meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your The hospital admission date must be while you are enrolled in the service. account until we notify you that your benefit request has been approved. The auto service/parts purchased must occur while you are enrolled in the service. The benefit payment for this event will be the larger of: 4% of the New Balance or the Minimum Payment, plus the Credit Defense Platinum fee. The benefit does not reimburse you for the actual auto expense. The benefit payment will not be for the total of the expense provided by you. You do not have to use your Wells Fargo credit card to pay for the auto service to qualify.

7 Pet services If you have pet services totaling $250 or greater, you may request a benefit under this service. Have pet expenses of $250 or greater? Call and request your benefit. To qualify for a pet service benefit: effective August 15, 2017, you must notify us within 24 months of the pet services by calling the Customer Care Team; we may require you to provide a detailed receipt of pet services that total $250 or greater in a single visit; we may require you to complete and return the forms required by us for proof of services; and you must meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your Moving account until we notify you that your benefit has been approved. The pet services must occur while you are enrolled in the service. The benefit payment for this event will be the larger of: 4% of the New Balance or or the Minimum Payment, plus the Credit Defense Platinum fee. The benefit does not reimburse you for the actual pet expense. The benefit payment will not be for the total of the expense provided by you. You do not have to use your Wells Fargo credit card to pay for the pet expense. If you have moved, you may request a benefit under this service. Have you moved? Call and request your benefit. To qualify for a moving benefit: effective August 15, 2017, you must notify us within 24 months of moving by calling the Customer Care Team; we may require you to provide copies of utility bills showing your name with your previous and new addresses; we may require you to provide documentation from campus housing verifying your move, if you are a college student living in campus housing; you must complete and return the forms required by us; and you must meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your account until we notify you that your benefit has been approved. The move must occur while you are enrolled in the service

8 Family leave of absence If your employer has approved a leave of absence for you to care for a sick family member, or for the birth or adoption of a child, you may request a benefit under this service. Have you taken a leave of absence? Call and request your benefit. To qualify for a family leave of absence benefit, you must: effective August 15, 2017, notify us within 24 months of the leave of absence by calling the Customer Care Team; be absent from employment due to the birth or adoption of your child or to care for a seriously ill family member; obtain a written statement from your employer that you have taken a leave of absence; not be self-employed at the time of the leave of absence; complete and return the forms required by us; and meet all requirements, as determined by us, applicable to your account until we notify you that your benefit has been approved. The leave of absence must occur while you are enrolled in the service. Loss of life If you lose your life, your survivors and/or estate executor may request a benefit under this service. Your survivors and/or estate can call to request a benefit request form. To qualify for a loss of life benefit, your survivors and/or estate executor: effective August 15, 2017, must notify us within 24 months of the date of death by calling Wells Fargo Customer Service; may be required to complete and return the forms required as proof of death, this may include a copy of the death certificate; and must meet all requirements as determined by us, applicable to your The loss of life must occur while you are enrolled in the service. We recommend that any joint account holder or other responsible party continue to make payments to keep the account current until notified by us that a benefit request has been approved

9 Credit Defense Platinum Service Agreement Additional Terms and Conditions This agreement contains all of the terms applicable to your benefits. The Credit Defense Platinum service will apply to your account as long as you pay the monthly fee, which will be billed on your monthly credit card statement. Under this agreement, benefits specifically apply to the primary cardholder and/ or the joint cardholder (if joint account). Authorized credit card users are not eligible for benefits. Service provided We will provide Credit Defense Platinum service benefits for the events outlined in this Service Guide when they happen to the primary and/or joint cardholder, as long as the service requirements are met. As long as you maintain this service on your account and pay the applicable fees, you may request to receive benefits as many times as needed, subject to conditions outlined in this Service Guide. Receiving benefits To receive benefits, you will need to contact us to request benefits. We will send you a benefit request form and may request some supporting documentation. Return your completed benefit request form and any supporting documentation, if needed. If your request is approved, the benefit payments will appear as a credit amount on your monthly credit card statement. We will also send you a letter describing the approved benefit amount. In the event that your benefit is denied, you will receive a letter that explains why you are not eligible to receive benefits at that time. In some cases, we may request additional information to help us determine your eligibility. Until we notify you that your benefit has been approved, you will need to continue making your monthly Minimum Payment on this account. Your satisfaction with the Credit Defense Platinum service is very important to us. If you have questions, call us at , Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. When a benefit ends For moving, pet and auto services, the benefit is a single benefit payment per calendar year. For life, disability, hospitalization, or unemployment, your benefit will end when any of the following occurs: when your covered event ends; after your account has been credited with the maximum number of benefit payments for which you qualified; you request to end your benefit; we discover you intentionally misrepresented to us any information pertaining to your covered event; we determine, at our sole discretion, that information you provided was false or misleading in any way; we determine, at our sole discretion, that the qualification and eligibility requirements described in this Service Guide were not met; or You are responsible for any third party costs associated with verifying your eligibility for benefits, such as physician charges. We have the right to request other documentation that is satisfactory to us in order to process any benefit requests. we determine you violated any of the terms and conditions of this Service Guide or the Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement. Monthly benefits for disability, hospitalization and involuntary unemployment will end if a loss of life benefit is processed. Additional Terms and Conditions (continued) When your benefit ends for any reason, you will again be responsible for making payments on your account in accordance with your Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement. Ending the service You can cancel the Credit Defense Platinum service at any time. To cancel the service, call us at , Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. If you voluntarily close your account, your participation in the service will continue unless you cancel by contacting Customer Care. Service fees will be billed for as long as there is an outstanding Balance on your account. We may end this service with no advance notice to you if: your account is closed for any reason; you file bankruptcy you violate any of the terms and conditions of your Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement or this Service Guide. We may end this service with 30 days advance notice to you if: we decide to discontinue offering this program to all program participants for any reason. your account becomes 90 days (3 billing cycles) past due. Employment Status. If you experience any changes in your employment status including, but not limited to, if you become self-employed or retire you may be ineligible for involuntary unemployment or leave of absence benefits. If you become ineligible for any of these benefits as a result of a change in your employment status, you should consider whether it is in your best interest to remain in the optional service. Additional service details If we ever change or add benefits to the Credit Defense Platinum service, we will notify you in writing, or as required by law. Any changes to this Service Guide that occur during your benefit period will not take effect until your benefit period ends, including a cancellation of this service. If you receive a notice from us of a change in the Service Guide and/or service and you do not consent to those changes, you must notify us within 30 days of receipt of that notice and we will cancel your service. If you do not notify us within the 30 day period, you will be bound to all changes for which you received notice. If you meet the benefit requirements on the date of the qualifying event, you are eligible to receive benefits regardless of whether you have active protection at the time the event is reported. We reserve the right to waive any of the requirements listed in this document at our sole discretion. However, we are not obligated to waive the same requirement or another requirement in any other situation. Because this Service Guide is part of your Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., any arbitration provisions listed in that agreement will apply to this service. All other provisions of your Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement remain in full force and effect. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this Service Guide and the terms contained in the Customer Agreement and Disclosure Statement, the terms of this Service Guide shall govern. We will not file a Form 1099 with the Internal Revenue Service if your debt is cancelled in any covered event. You are responsible for any and all taxes related to benefits you receive. Please consult your tax advisor regarding this matter
