7 Palatine Palatine Palatine Palatine Palatine Impacts of the State of Illinois actions/inactions on the Village of Palatine s 2018 Budget : Withheld $600,000 of Local Government Distributive Fund (LGDF) monies due to Palatine Public safety pension increase of $917,000 for 2018 Enacted a 2% fee for administration of sales tax collection, resulting in a projected loss of revenues of $85,000 for 2018 $1.6 million attributable to actions/inactions of Springfield
