Checking items off as they are completed will help ensure an easy transition over to your new Flag account. D Open your new Flag checking account. Visit us online at and click on "Become A Member" to fill out our online membership application, or drop in and meet with one of our Member Service Representatives to get you started! D Move your automated transactions to your new account. Contact any organizations with which you've arranged for automatic deposits or withdrawals from your account, and provide them with your new account information. o For Direct Deposit Changes: For State of Florida Payroll: Fill out the attached State of Florida Direct Deposit Authorization form. For Other Payroll: Fill out the attached Payroll Direct Deposit Authorization form and give it to your payroll office. For Social Security direct deposit: call the Social Security Administration at and provide them with your new Flag account number and the Flag routing number ( ). For other direct deposits: contact the company. Let them know you are changing your account to Flag, and provide them with your new account number and Flag's routing number ( ). o For Automatic Withdrawals: Use the enclosed Automatic Payments Letter form as a convenient way of letting the companies know you have changed your account to Flag Credit Union and include a voided check. These companies may include mortgage or loan payments, insurance premiums, membership fees, utility payments, etc. o For Auto Billing on your Debit Card: Contact the company that you have authorized to receive payments using your old debit card either via phone, or by logging into your account (or your Bill Pay account with your old financial institution) with that company and changing the billing information. D Close your old account. Notify your old financial institution to close your account. o Let outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals clear in your old account.
