FACTSET ANALYTICS INSIGHT provides exposure to all Chinese share classes including A-shares, B-shares, H- shares, Red Chips, P-chips and N-shares in one ETF wrapper. It accesses 2 key share classes indirectly. First, literal N-shares Chinese firms with primary listings in New York are out-of-bounds following an index change on Nov to the MSCI China All Shares Index. However, N-share names (including Alibaba and Baidu) are now included in MSCI s broader EM universe and are accessed via depository receipts traded in China. Second, gets exposure to China s restricted A-share market a hefty chunk index s weighting indirectly by holding DBX s RQFII ETFs, ASHR and ASHS. Since isn t an RQFII ETF, it doesn t have a specific quota, although ASHR and ASHS have limits that change from time to time.ashr and ASHS track CSI indexes which have different construction methodologies than MSCI China A subindex, which could pose tracking difficulties. In addition, ASHR and ASHS trade when index constituents don t, distorting the tracking record. Still, holding the highly liquid ASHR helps s underlying liquidity. The fund charges a reasonable fee given its comprehensive exposure but is not nearly as popular as some peer ETFs.
