7 Your Financial Planning Process Establish Your Financial Goals Review Your Progress 2 Understand Your Situation Implement Solutions or Provide Guidance 1 Benefit From Knowledgeable Analysis Review & Discuss Strategies Establish your financial goals AGENDA Initial discussion of your financial situation, goals, and expectations Client completes financial profile Understand your situation Conduct robust goal development discussion and collect financial profile and documents Financial Planner begins analysis Analyze your information Verify data, highlight areas of concern or opportunity, and share initial findings OBJECTIVE Gain an understanding of the process, complete Client Advisory Agreement and review financial profile Obtain all relevant information to begin analysis Understand basis for analysis, refine plan data, and collaborate on what if scenarios Financial Planner develops recommendations and action plan Review and discussion Implementation Progress review Read custom recommendations, answer questions, and review action plan Execute items from action plan Evaluate progress and adjust for changes in circumstances over time Chart a specific path for achieving all financial goals Act on recommendations Ensure successful implementation and refine strategies 1 You have a choice to implement the recommendations in your financial plan on your own, with your Financial Planner or through another financial services professional. If you choose to implement your plan with your Financial Planner, he or she may sell services and products to you in his or her capacities as (1) a registered representative of Pruco Securities, LLC, a registered broker-dealer, and/or (2) a licensed insurance agent of The Prudential Insurance Company of America and/or its insurer affiliates. 2 You should review your progress toward goals periodically.
