We have examined the Balance Sheet of BESU, SHIBPUR (REG. SllLl29880 dt ) as at 31st March, 2010 and also the Income 8 Expenditure Account for the Year ended on that date which are in agreement with the Books of Account maintained by the Society. Subject to the notes given in the annexure hereto, we have obtained all the information and explanations which to the best of our knowledge and belief were necessary for the purposes of the audit. In our opinion, proper Books of Account have been kept by the above named Trust so far as appears from our examination of the Books. In our opinion and to the best of our information and according to explanations given to us, the said accounts give a true and fair view : i) In the case of the Balance Sheet of the state of the affairs as at 31". March, 2010 and ii) In the case of the Income and Expenditure Account of the Surplus for the year ended 31". March, The prescribed particulars are annexed hereto. Botanical Garden, Howrah We have examined the annexed Balance Sheet as at 31'' March, 2010 and lncome and Expenditure Account and the Receipts and Payments Account for the year ended on that date and report that : 1. These financial statements are the responsibility of the Management of GLOBAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF BESU, SHIBPUR, having Registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961, Kolkata, bearing no. SlIU29880 dt Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit. 2. We conducted our audit in accordance with the auditing standards generally accepted in India. Those standards require that we plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance whether the financial statements are free of material misstatement. 3. An Audit includes examining on test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosure in financial statement. An Audit also includes assessing the Accounting Principles used and significant estimates read with the estimate related disclosures made in the notes on accounts by the Management as well as evaluating the overall financial statement presentation.
