1 Car Show and Shine *Terms and Conditions Show and Shine Display The Terms and Conditions should be read carefuly by the individual responsible for this entry. By participating in the Show and Shine Car Display and ticking the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, you agree to comply to these Terms and Conditions and all other conditions as detailed on the Cooly Rocks On website. 1. Vehicle Entries All entrants must hold a current Australian drivers license to drive the vehicle entered in the Car Show & Shine. To be eligible for entry to Cooly Rocks on a vehicle must be a minimum of 40 years old ( + run on models). This is identified by the vehicles Build Date as detailed on the vehicle manufacturers build plate NOT the vehicle Compliance Date as detailed on the vehicles ADR Compliance Plate At the discretion of the festival organisers registrations may be limited to cars manufactured prior to 1950 and cars manufactured between 1950 and Maximum 10 tickets can be purchased at any one time. 2 All registered entrants will be guaranteed to enter the Car Show & Shine and will receive a Car Entrants pack. The entrants packs must be collected at the event at the time of registration prior to vehicle park up. Strictly no cars are to depart their registered car spot outside of the below specified entry and exit times and locations. All car registrations must be current and registration plates fitted.. Cars can be left overnight in the allocated sites, however, it is at the owners risk. Cooly Rocks On will not take any responsibility for cars left overnight. Cooly Rocks On will not be responsible for any damage or accidents to registered cars within the precinct. The driver and car owner will be held accountable for any damage or any accidents that occur during the festival 2. Vehicle Park Up & Exit Times and Locations All Zones : Saturday 9 June 2018: To Be Confirmed Sunday 10 June 2018: To Be Confirmed 3. Other points to Note Any information concerning the entrant, however obtained (e.g. photographs or video footage), may be used or disclosed at the discretion of Cooly Rocks On for advertising, social media and publicity. Entrants voluntarily undertake any risks associated with the event and release Cooly Rocks On employees, agents and officers from any or all liability for damage, loss or injury, however caused, that the entrants may suffer as a result of or arising from breach of these terms and conditions and their participation in the event. Entrants acknowledge and agree that Cooly Rocks On employees, agents and officers of the Council may plead this waiver and indemnity as a bar to any proceedings that may commence against all or any of them. Entrants agree to indemnify and keep indemnified the Council, Councillors, employees, agents and officers of the Council against any liability, claim, demand, cost or damage they may incur as a result of, or arising from, whether directly or indirectly, breach of these terms and conditions and their participation in the event. Car Show and Shine Display Manual A Car Show and Shine Display Manual will be sent out to all car entrants one month prior to the festival with all detailed bump in/out information, relevant contact details, maps and other event information. The Car entrant must familiarise themselves with all aspects of the Cooly Rocks On Car Show and Shine Display Manual and associated documents and agrees to comply with the manual and associated documents. 6. Weather Contingency Plan Cooly Rocks On will have an approach that includes monitoring the local weather from before bump-in until the event has finished and the crowd has dispersed. The Cooly Rocks On Production Manager in consultation with the Operations Manager will monitor the weather conditions in the lead up to and during the event. A wet weather contingency plan will be included in the Car Show and Shine Manual outlining the process required to be conducted in the event of severe weather. It is imperative that action must be taken to secure the site prior to severe weather reaching the site so that precautions can be taken to ensure the safety of staff and public. In the case of severe weather Cooly Rocks On management hold the right to suspend and/or cancel cars entering in the Show and Shine Display and order an immediate evacuation of cars should they deem it unsafe to continue operating under the present circumstances. The call to suspend or cancel cars in the Show and Shine Display will be made by the Cooly Rocks On CEO, the Health and Safety officer and Logistics Manager. Notice of suspension or cancellation of the Show and Shine will be made via the Facebook event page and the Cooly Rocks On website and all car entrants must check these platforms in the first instance. Every effort will also be made to personally contact all car entrants via , text or in person, but cannot be guaranteed. All car entrants must follow Cooly Rocks On management s advice and any car entrant not

4 adhering to this will be liable for any damages to public and surroundings and will not be invited back to any further events. Should the Show and Shine Display be cancelled, Cooly Rocks On reserve the right to not issue any refunds for the cancellation. Cooly Rocks On is not liable for failure to perform any obligations if such failure is as a result of Severe weather, labour dispute, strike, lockout or failure of electricity or telephone service. Cooly Rocks on is not liable for attendance numbers to the event. Cooly Rocks On management reserves the right to alter bump-in and operating times during the festival due to weather, safety or unforeseen circumstances. Severe weather may include: - Lightning - Hail - High Winds - Heavy Rain - Thunder Storms - Earthquake - Floods - Hurricane - King Tides - Extreme Surf Cooly Rocks On do not accept any liability of any damage to cars due to bad weather. A full wet weather contingency plan will be outlined in the Car Show and Shine Manual.

Acknowledgement As the authorised representative of the business / group nomination to participate in the Cooly Rocks On Show and Shine, I have read the Terms and Conditions and agree to all as contained therein. The entrant acknowledges that the personal information contained within the entries will be entered into an event database. The event promoter (CSGC) and its key stakeholders may use the entrant s names, addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By making payment of the entry the entrant is confirming that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should make the request in writing to cars@southerngoldcoast.com.au. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant s details will be facilitated in a timely manner. (Please Tick to confirm)
