5 What Is a Proof of Coverage (POC) Notice/Binder? Used to report coverage when the coverage provider does not have all of the information available to complete an establishing transaction Ensures POC compliance

6 POC Notice/Binder Requirements POC Notice/Binder Every Proof of Coverage Notice/Binder must include: Header Record Name Record Address Record State Premium Record Exposure Record See Policy and Proof of Coverage Reporting Guidebook on ncci.com

7 POC Notice/Binder Processing New or Renewal Policy Transaction Most POC states require the carrier to submit a new or renewal policy to replace the POC Notice within 30 days of the Policy Effective Date.
