1 COUNTRYWIDE - LIQUOR LEGAL LIABILITY GUIDELINES ELIGIBLE RISKS Increased liquor liability limits up to $1,000,000 are now available for the following classes of business where liquor sales are less than 25% of the total receipts of the business (available only in conjunction with general liability coverage): o Bed & Breakfast o Bowling Alleys o Caterers/Halls o Clubs o Convenience Stores o Grocery Stores o Golf Courses o Hotels/Motels o Restaurants o Special Events o Supermarkets LIQUOR LIABILITY GUIDELINES: Liquor rates are based on liquor receipts only (Food &/or other receipts not included). General Criteria Available only in conjunction with general liability coverage Must hold all applicable licenses & permits as required by law Liquor training for active owners, managers, and employees Deductible should be same as for general liability with minimum of $500 per cause Assault & Battery follow general liability guidelines Liquor Liability coverage is not available in the following states: AK, HI, IA, MI, MN & NH Increased Limits are not available in the following states: DC, IL, MO, PA, VT, WV o Maximum limits of $300,000 for Restaurants with less than 25% Alcohol receipts and Convenience Stores o Maximum limits of $100,000 for all Alabama liquor exposures with less than 25% alcohol receipts. o Maximum limits of $100,000 for Taverns and Bars o Refer to the Rate Page for each specific PDQ for eligible classes and maximum limits offered.
