1 Terms & Conditions Thank you for purchasing the LUMIX Premium Service for your Panasonic camera ( the Product ). This Premium Service does not affect your statutory rights under statutory warranty for defects in the goods or any other rights under legislation governing the sale of consumer goods. Important notice: In order to activate the Premium Service please register your Product within 30 days from date of purchase of the Premium Service. 1 Definitions In these Terms & Conditions and unless expressly otherwise stated, the following expressions shall have the following meaning: 1.1. You, Your and Customer means the purchaser of the Premium Blue Service, the Premium Gold Service or the Premium Black Service We, Us, Our and Panasonic means Panasonic UK, a branch of Panasonic Marketing Europe GmbH 1.3. Premium Blue Service includes LUMIX Premium Hotline, Pick-up and Return Service, Fast Lane Repair and Software Update Premium Gold Service covers LUMIX Premium Hotline, Pick-up and Return Service, Fast Lane Repair, Maintenance Service and Software Update Premium Black Service covers LUMIX Premium Hotline, Pick-up and Return Service, Fast Lane Repair, Maintenance Service, Software Update and Lens Unit Calibration Premium Service means either the Premium Blue Service and/or Premium Gold Service and/or the Premium Black Service, as purchased by the Customer LUMIX Premium Hotline or Hotline means the services as described in Clause 4 below Pick-up and Return Service means the services as described in Clause 5 below Fast-lane Repair means the services as described in Clause 6 below Maintenance Service means the services described in Clause 7 below Lens Calibration means the services described in Clause 7.2 below Software Update means the services described in Clause 8 below Premium Service Period means 12 months from the date of registration of the applicable Premium Service Territory means Germany, France, Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom Working Day means Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm excluding weekends, bank, public and statutory holidays.

2 2 Registration and validity 2.1. In order to be valid, You must activate the applicable Premium Service by registering the Product together with its model number and serial number within 30 calendar days of purchasing the applicable Premium Service. Your contact data and other details requested by Panasonic during the registration process must be complete and correct. This registration will be verified when a claim is made The Premium Service covers 1 camera body and up to 3 additional accessories (only lens units or the Audio Video Interface Unit, CE marked Products only) It is also a condition of the Premium Service that the original purchase receipts of the Product must be presented showing the date of purchase when a claim is made If the Premium Service has not been registered during this deadline, the Premium Service start date will be set automatically to 30 days after your purchase from our online shop Provided the Premium Service has been registered during this deadline, Panasonic will provide the applicable Premium Service during 12 months following registration. The addition of accessories on to the service after the initial registration date will not extend the overall expire date The Premium Service is available to the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred You may freely cancel the Premium Service and receive a full refund within 14 days of having purchased the Premium Service unless You have received Premium Service during this time. If so, the Premium Service will continue in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 3 Data Privacy All personal information provided by You when registering for the Premium Service or when obtaining the relevant Premium Service will be maintained and used in accordance with the Panasonic Privacy policy available at 4 LUMIX Premium Hotline 4.1 As part of the Premium Service Panasonic provides a Hotline for Your Product in the Territory which offers priority customer support (Technical, Repair (coordinate details of "Pick-up Service")) by trained personnel. 4.2 The phone number for the Hotline will be given to the Customer on the LUMIX Premium membership card delivered to the Customer following registration of the Premium Service. 4.3 The Hotline will be available on Working Days, 09:00 to 17:00. Local tariffs apply. Mobile phone rates can be higher.

3 5 Pick-up and Return Service 5.1 As part of the Premium Service, Panasonic provides a free Pick-up and Return Service in the Territory for the requirement of repair. Panasonic also provides the Pick-up and Return Service in the Territory for maintenance covered by Premium Gold or Premium Black Service. 5.2 Please contact the Hotline to arrange for the pick-up of the Product or got to Please make sure You have the Membership number ready and the Hotline will also contact You to arrange for the return of Your Product. 5.3 For repair, in the event that Your Product fails, please check the "Trouble-Shooting" section of the Operating Instructions before You contact the Hotline. 5.4 The Pick-up Service will be provided by a carrier selected by Panasonic. 5.5 For Premium Service, Panasonic will carry out the transportation from the Customer to the authorized service centre chosen by Panasonic within 24 hours. This is calculated on Working Days only and from the time the Product is picked up from the Customer until it has arrived at the authorized service centre. In the same way, Panasonic will arrange for the return of the Product within 24 hours. Note: Republic of Ireland is 48 hours. In particularly remote locations, for example the Island and Highlands, shipment time may take longer up to 3-4 days. 5.6 If You are not available at the agreed time for the pick-up or return of Your Product with the Hotline, the carrier will leave a note for You to make another pick-up appointment with the carrier. After that, Panasonic will charge for any additional attempts to pick-up or return Your Product. 6 Fast-lane Repair 6.1 As part of the Premium Service, Panasonic provides a "Fast-lane Repair" service for repairs of the camera body. 6.2 For defects covered by Panasonic s Pan-EU Guarantee for the Product ( In-Warranty Repairs ), the repair itself will be free of charge in accordance with the terms of the Pan-EU Guarantee. 6.3 For defects not covered by Panasonic s Pan-EU Guarantee and provided it is possible to repair the defect, the repair itself will be carried out on a chargeable basis ( Out-of-Warranty Repairs ). Following receipt of the Product, the authorized service centre will provide You with a cost estimation for the Out-of Warranty Repair. 6.4 Panasonic will carry out repairs of the camera body within a Repair Time of 24 hours. Repair Time is calculated on Working Days only and from the time the authorized service centre has received the Product until the Product has been picked up by the carrier for return to You. For Out-of Warranty Repairs, the Repair Time will be calculated from when You have given Your consent to the cost estimation provided by the authorized service centre. 6.5 In case the repair cannot be completed within 24 hours, Panasonic will contact You immediately to arrange either an extension of Repair Time or offer a loan unit. 6.6 The loan unit should be returned to Panasonic at the same time as the original Product is returned to You. If the loan unit has been damaged due to negligence or intentional actions, Panasonic reserves the right to charge You for the damage to the loan unit.

4 7 Maintenance Services As part of the Premium Gold and Black Service, Panasonic provides the following services: 7.1 Sensor and Eye View Finder Cleaning Panasonic provides a "Sensor and Eye View Finder Cleaning" service. You can contact the Hotline or go to to arrange for the Pick-up and Return Service to carry out the Cleaning service. 7.2 Lens Calibration (Premium Black available in Germany only) Panasonic provides a "Lens Focal Point Calibration" service for the following Lens Units: H-ES045E, H-FS045200E, H-FS100300E, H-FS14140E, H-FS35100E, H-FS45150E, H-H014E, H-H014AE, H-HS12035E, H-PS14042E, H-PS45175E, H-VS014140E, H-X015E, H-X025E, H- FSA45200E, H-FSA100300E, H-HSA12035E, H-ES12060E, H-ES12060, H-FSA100300, H-FSA45200, H-HSA12035 You can contact the Hotline or go to to arrange for the Pick-up and Return Service to carry out the Calibration service. 7.3 The Calibration service and the Cleaning service will be carried out within 5 Working Days maximum, calculated from the time the authorized service centre has received the Product until the Product has been picked up by the carrier for return to You. 7.4 The Maintenance Service is limited to 1 process within the period of Your Premium Service validity. 8 Software Update As part of the Premium Service Panasonic provides a "Software Update Maintenance Service. 8.1 As Part of the Premium Service, Panasonic will carry out the Software Update within 24 hours. In case the Software Update cannot be completed within 24 hours, Panasonic will contact You immediately to arrange either an extension or offer a loan unit. 8.2 The period in Clause 8.1 above will be calculated on Working Days only and from the time the authorized service centre has received the Product until the Product has been picked up by the carrier for return to You. 9 Liability 9.1 Panasonic shall not be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of any obligation under this Premium Service Programme caused by any circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as, but not limited to, fire, flood, war, industry dispute, government action, or regulations, or failure or delay on the part of the suppliers or subcontractors (e.g. carriers).

5 10 General 10.1 Panasonic may at any time subcontract or delegate in any manner any or all of its rights and obligations under these Terms & Conditions to any third party or agent, including authorized service centres All Intellectual Property Rights in or arising out of the Premium Service, including in any Software provided, shall remain the property of Panasonic Any notices given under these Terms and Conditions must be in writing (including fax or ) Should any provision of these terms of use be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the legal effectiveness of the remaining provisions hereof. Such ineffective provision shall be deemed replaced by an effective provision which comes as close as possible to the parties economic intent The Premium Service and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claims arising out of the provision of the Premium Service and these Terms & Conditions or in connection with it or its formation The Premium Service exists in addition to the statutory and/or contractual dealer warranty and do not in any way restrict your rights as a buyer out of such warranty or under any applicable consumer protection law Panasonic Marketing Europe GmbH - Alle Rechte vorbehalten
