1 INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPY FANCAN Great care has gone into providing complete and thorough installation instructions. If for some reason you are having trouble with any part of this installation please do not hesitate to give us a call. 1. Ensure that all parts and the proper quantities of parts that are listed in the Parts List on the Assembly Drawing are in the package. 2. Refer to Spyder Shop Manual and remove the Middle Right side body panel. If you have a 10mm Gear Wrench, removal of the Lower Right side body panel is not necessary. If you don t have a 10mm Gear Wrench remove the Lower Right side body panel. 3. Loosen the top inner bolt that holds the radiator fan to the radiator. The picture below shows the bolt has been removed but it only needs to be loosened enough to slip the tab of the FANCAN under the head of the bolt. Page 1

2 4. Loosen the lower outer bolt that holds the radiator fan to the radiator. The picture below shows the bolt has been removed but it only needs to be loosened enough to slip the tab of the FANCAN under the head of the bolt. Page 2

The FANCAN that you have is not exactly the same as this one

3 5. Install FANCAN as shown in the following pictures. NOTE: the FANCAN in these pictures is a prototype. The FANCAN that you have is not exactly the same as this one but the functionallity is still the same. Tighten the bolts that were loosened. Page 3

6. On the back of the Middle Right side body panel there is a scoop that must be removed. There are three metal clips and two screws that must be removed to do this.

Reinstall the Lower Right side body panel if it was removed then reinstall the Middle Right side body panel and the installation is complete.
