1 WROSE CARNIVAL STAGE/ARENA CONTRACT 2018 This contract has been set up by the Wrose Carnival committee. It outlines the expectations of the stall holders, businesses and anyone supporting the carnival. This contract must be signed and returned to us alongside your stalls application. Please keep a copy for yourself for your own personal reference. Please read the following carefully. - We must receive all Documents before the deadline or your application will be void. - All entertainers must have the correct insurance and these should be sent with this contract. - Your vehicle must be moved off of the carnival field/site, to the designated car park once unloaded, unless it is part of your act (please include this at time of booking). Only 1 vehicle per act. There is NO vehicle movement on the field between 10:30am and 5:30pm. - Permission from the security supervisor must be gained before any vehicle movement is made. You must, AT ALL TIMES, be escorted by security when moving your vehicle onsite. This is due to our health and safety policy for people attending and helping the carnival. - The committee will not be responsible for any damages, loss or injury sustained by; weather, member of the public, or their own vehicle during the carnival. The committee reserves the right to: - Refuse any application sent to us. - Determine the time of the act, this time will be given no later than 1 week before the event. - Cancel the Carnival at any time due to weather/ground conditions. - Acts are entirely responsible for the removal of all rubbish created by themselves before, during, and after their act, even if it is not theirs. Please remember that all of the Wrose Carnival staff are unpaid volunteers. They give up their own time throughout the year to organise this event. Anyone who abuses the volunteers or committee, will be reported to the police and escorted off the grounds by security. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY FORM OF ABUSE FROM BUSINESS OWNERS, RESIDENTS OR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. Attached to this document is the term and conditions, by signing this contract you are agreeing to comply fully with the contract and the Terms and conditions. Signed.

2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Wrose Carnival this year will be held on Saturday 7 TH July :00 till 5:00pm. The Location of the Carnival field is Wrose Grove, Wrose, Bradford, BD18 1AB Arena/Stage Time These will be allocated 1 week minimum before the event. All performers will be responsible for the erection and removal of their own belongings. You are responsible for your own equipment. All performers have to be at the event at least 30 minutes before their allocated time. Failure to turn up 30 minutes before may result in refusal into the arena. Your time slot, once allocated, will not be changed, Even if there is a gap in our running order. Act Once the content of your act has been confirmed on this application, it cannot be altered. You need to be very specific when making note of this. Vehicle entry pass Once we have received all your payments and documents, we will send out a vehicle entry pass. This will enable ONE car per stall to access the carnival ground. You must bring this pass with you on the day to gain access to the ground. You can also use this to bring any equipment you need onto the site to leave in a secure place. This has to be put back stage before 11am and then car removed. After this time, your vehicle will not be allowed on site and you will have to manually bring your equipment on site. You can collect any equipment, by car, after 5:30pm.

3 Backing Music PLEASE NOTE ANY BACKING TRACKS MUST BE ON A CD WITH THE TRACTS IN ORDER. ANYTHING ELSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOUR PERFORMANCE WILL NOT GO AHEAD. Insurances All Acts must have their own public liability insurance The requirement for insurance cover is obligatory and no organisation or individual will be allowed to take part in the carnival if they do not have the required cover.
