6 Customer Rights Section No Claims Bonus We are pleased to advise you that if you do not make a claim during the initial period of cover we will offer you a No Claims Bonus on the renewal of your policy. You will receive a reduction on the annual premium at the time of renewal. We will write to you approximately one month before your policy expires to advise you of your annual renewal premium. Claims Procedure If you need to make a claim on your Premier Care policy please call our Helpline on or claims@mark-bates-ltd.co.uk where one of our claims specialists will talk you through the simple procedure to ensure that your product is repaired/replaced with no unnecessary delays. Mark Bates Limited has built a reputation for fast and efficient handling of claims and will ensure that once we have received a signed, completed claim form and estimate for the repair/ replacement of your product, authorisation for the work to go ahead will be given immediately the loss has been validated. Mark Bates Limited reserves the right to inspect any damage to your product or seek an alternative estimate for the repair/replacement. Complaints Procedure We sincerely hope that you will never need to make a complaint. However, in accordance with FSA regulations, a full complaints procedure will be detailed on the Policy document we will send you once your application has been processed. Cancellation Procedure Whilst we are very confident that the Premier Care Insurance and Warranty policies will fully meet your cover requirements, we recognise that circumstances do change from time time and you may no longer require your policy. Should this be the case then you may cancel your policy in writing at any time and you will receive a proportional refund from the insurers in accordance with their short period rates in force at the time of cancellation. Main exclusions applicable to Premier Care / Premier Care Plus Mechanical or electrical breakdown (see Premier Care Warranty) Loss or damage whilst the mobility product is in possession of airport authorities, airline baggage handlers or whilst on the aircraft Public liability cover in North America or Canada Main exclusions Premier Care Warranty / In-Home Warranty Routine maintenance and servicing costs Costs where no fault is found Fair wear and tear Accidental damage (except to in-home products) Also please note that where a warranty is taken out on a used/second hand product, the first 90 days will be excluded and cover will therefore be for 9 months
