Information with regard to BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV The custody account is a product of BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, Montagne du Parc/Warandeberg 3, B Brussels, RPM/RPR Brussels, VAT , acting as the service provider (also referred to hereinafter as the Bank ). BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV is subject to the prudential supervision of the National Bank of Belgium, Boulevard de Berlaimont 14, 1000 Brussels and the supervision on investor and consumer protection of the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA), rue du Congrès 12-14, 1000 Brussels and authorised as insurance agent under FSMA number A. 2. Buy and sell securities easily 2.1 Buying Giving stock market orders or subscribing to securities may involve quite complicated procedures. With Easy Banking Web and the custody account these are restricted to a minimum. The result of your transactions will also immediately be projected on your custody account. The benefits are obvious: a minimum of administration; no incorrect, late or incomplete orders. 2.2 Selling Selling securities from a custody account is just as easy. Your orders are executed immediately, i.e. without losing any time. 3. Your custody account releases you of all administration Every item on your custody account is followed closely. We deposit the interest or the dividend on your current account in Euros on the day when they are paid. BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV collects the securities which have reached maturity or are drawn at the right moment. The capital is deposited to your current account in the currency of your security. We will notify you in time of all transactions on your securities: early repayments, repurchase by the issuer, bonus allocations, capital increases, stock splits, and so on. We will notify you a few weeks in advance that your securities are going to reach maturity. This will give you the time to think about your further plans and, for instance, decide whether to collect, reinvest or reallocate the funds etc. 4. Your custody account always gives you a full overview Easy Banking Web constantly gives you a reliable overview of your custody account. Easy Banking Web will give you an evaluation of your custody account on the basis of the most recent quotation. Moreover, you will receive a yearly statement of account, with detailed data about every post (quantity, price, etc.). Furthermore the statement will break down your portfolio according to types of securities (shares, bonds, funds, etc.) and per currency (EUR, USD, etc.). 2 5. Full services for limited management fee The custody fee and arrangement fee are debited from your current account around mid-january. Please find the details of these fees below. Let us point out to you that you do not pay a custody fee for the securities of the BNP Paribas Fortis group, or for the following securities: securities issued by Bpost Bank; shares and bonds issued by BNP Paribas funds of BNP Paribas Parvest, Parworld, BNP Paribas Investment Partners rights and strips of shares; Solvay shares and Ageas shares; Non-quoted shares whose issuing company designated BNP Paribas Fortis as head of the pyramid (issuing account). 6. Custody account tariff 6.1. Custody fee and arrangement fee On all below mentioned fees VAT is included. Arrangement fee: EUR 2.12 per quarter and per custody account. No arrangement fee for custody accounts containing only securities which are held for free. The custody fee is calculated every quarter on the basis of the quotations on the last stock exchange day of the quarter. The custody fee and the arrangement fee are debited once a year, in January of the next year. (2) "Other securities" include gold bars, real estate certificates, warrants, privaks and funds not issued by the BNP Paribas Fortis group. Exceptions: The custody fee on lottery loans amounts to % on an annual basis, with a minimum of EUR 1.21 per quarter. Registered certificates and linear bonds held by customers who are exempted in the liquidation system of the Nationale Bank: % with a maximum of EUR per quarter. 6.2 Withdrawals The withdrawal is only possible for the following securities: nominative certificates and precious metals. 3 6.3 Transfers from a custody account Costs by post: Transfer to another custody account held with BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV Belgium: free of charge. Transfer to a custody account held with BGL BNP Paribas SA: free of charge. Other transfers: EUR 75 (VAT included). The custody account is subject to the General Terms and Conditions applicable to the investment services of BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV. The bank may change the above features, terms and conditions of the custody account at any time. The relevant information shall be amended accordingly. 7. Right of withdrawal Right of cancellation Right of withdrawal You are entitled to withdraw from your custody account, which was opened remotely or ouside sales points of the bank, without incurring any penalty and without giving any reason for doing so. You can exercise this right within a period of 14 calendar days by sending a registered letter to BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, Montagne du Parc/Warandeberg 3, B-1000 Brussels. This period of 14 days starts on the day the agreement was concluded or on the day on which you receive the contractual conditions and precontractual informations, if this is after concluding the agreement. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the standard form attached to this agreement as an appendix may be used. However, the use of this form is not mandatory. Other declarations unambiguously demonstrating the customer s wish to withdraw are also permitted. In the event of a withdrawal, you will only have to pay the costs of any services that have actually been provided, at the applicable rates. If you do not use your right of withdrawal your current account will be opened for an indefinite period of time. Right of cancellation Pursuant to article 14 of the General Terms and Conditions of BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV, the customer can terminate the custody account at any time provided notice is sent by registered mail respecting a 30-day term, starting on the date when the notice is sent. If the bank avails itself of this right, a notice period of two months shall apply. In case of non-execution of a commitment or in case of breach of trust, the relation can be terminated with immediate effect without prior default notice, by means of a registered letter. 8. Applicable law and competent courts - Miscellaneous The relationship between you and your bank, both before the custody account is opened and resulting from the opening of the custody account, shall be governed by Belgian law. Any claim CONCERNING the custody account agreement and its execution shall be heard by the court indicated in Article 23 of the General Terms and Conditions of BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV. Any communication in connection with and/or resulting form the opening of the custody account must be IN the language entered IN the files of the bank at the start of the relationship. 4 9. Objections Complaints may be sent to the bank via the customer's branch, via the Customer Service department, or by means of the complaint form available in PC banking or on the bank's website.
