3 Quality right from the start. Metallbearbeitung Becker GmbH was founded in Dautphetal in In 2001, the company moved to its production premises and offices at its present site in Biedenkopf. In a comparably short period, the production and storage facilities were extended to their current 6,000 m² area. In production, there is now a large pool of CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines available. Induction hardening, full assemblies, and devices for machines, as well as attachments, are just a few of the task areas managed by experienced mbb employees. Production and waste management are subject to strict environmental standards. The power required for production is at times fully generated and provided by the factory s own solar systems. Team spirit and availability of services mbb currently has more than seventy dedicated, experienced employees. The company s ongoing success lies in the variety of customer requirements and the specific solutions found for these by mbb. 3

5 The mbb range of services We use state-of-the-art CNC-controlled machines to produce individual work pieces and assemblies in compliance with drawing specifications. These may include the machining of cast parts or semi-finished products provided by customers. It goes without saying that we also manage material procurement and the organisation of other processing steps, for example, surface and heat treatment. Our activities not only include creating prototypes and producing small batches, for example, in the automotive sector, but also mass-produced parts in batches of as much as several thousand pieces. In addition to the options we can offer in the area of turning and milling technology, we also take on complete or part assembly of our own parts and supplied components. Our customers often make use of the options of parallel consultations, preparation of the required drawings, or component design. 5

This ensures that all tests data can be tracked for many years to come. Upon request, measurement records can also be issued. 9
