9 Economic Impact of KALAHI-CIDDS Impact associated with improved household welfare Increased per capita consumption, resulting to increase in economic output Reduced poverty incidence, coupled with increase of households rating themselves as non-poor Increased labor force participation due to greater access to employment opportunities Diversified sources of household income Improved agricultural production and direct selling of produce by farmers Sustainability of KALAHI-CIDDS NCDDP Continuous social and physical improvements to increase consumption and economic productivity Advances in agricultural production and capacity building for effective marketing and financial management Monitoring and Evaluation to ensure continuous delivery of basic services 9
