12 NETREL Objectives Provide up-to-date training for the staff of University of Novi Sad, University of Belgrade, University of Sarajevo, University of Banja Luka related to monitoring of WFD priority substances, emerging substances, persistent organic pollutants and other pollutants in the aquatic environment. Transfer knowledge from the trained partner countries university staff to public at local, regional and national level. Establish the network between academic staff of NETREL partner countries to provide training courses for the staff of in the Western Balkan countries with the purpose to improve the analytical practice in the field of monitoring.

13 NETREL Priorities Priorities for Western Balkan Countries Training courses for public services will be developed and organised for staff of public on local/regional/national level in accordance with the EU Directives Development of lifelong learning program organised jointly with training courses will broaden the knowledge of trainees from public services in monitoring.

Training of partner country academic staff by EU partners (1-24 months) - EU Universities Activities: 6 training courses will be organised independently in Serbia and in B&H for university staff (sampling, sample treatment, analytical methods, QA&QC, validation of analytical methods, data handing and evaluation) 4 hands on trainings will be organised for university staff in EU countries Visits of staff in CZ and Slovakia Trainings on purchased equipment in Serbia and B&H
