An important issue for consicleration is the funding of the reserves. This is a long-term issue and historically has not been fully funded. As was agreed to last year, a $286,000 contribution was made to this fund in As was the case last year, we are required to either fully fimd the reserves or to waive this requirement by a majority vote of those represented in person or by proxy" The Board of Directors is recommending a FOR vote partially funding the Reserves in the amount of $302,000 in theassociation's 2015 Proposed Operating Budget and Reserve Schedule (which will result in lower monthly maintenance assessments than a fully funded budget). you are urged to attend the meetings on November 5th, when the full budget will be discussed and a vote will be taken on the issue of the waiver. If we do not achieve a majority vote of those represented in person or by proxy in favor of the waiver to fully fund the reserves for the 2015 budget, maintenance costs will be in excess of $2,217 per quarter as shown in the enclosed budget.
