OSCAR MADEDDU 09:00 10:45 Session 12: Credit Reporting and Scoring for Micro and SME The session will focus on the value of good scoring systems to improve the identification of good clients for MSME. Accepting bad customers is generally considered the only mistake that a lender can make. There something worse: rejecting good potential clients because of lack of information or collateral. This is the unfortunate fate of many MSME which are among the most opaque, vague and indefinable client segments. MSME are the perfect profile for credit bureaus and scoring, which can offer an unimaginable support to better identify the risk level of these small-ticket-loans applicants, among whom false positives and false negatives are the rule. Mr. Vincenzo Resta Senior Business Consultant, Credit Bureau Division CRIF Mr. Orlando Rossi Manager CRIF 10:45-11:15 Tea Break 11: Session 13: How to Improve Credit Reporting Efficiency? Value Added Services 12:45-13:30 Lunch The session will focus on how credit reports can increase the value added services of a skilled and effective credit bureau provider. The range is limitless, starting from the very effective bureau score, and continuing with tracing, alerts, antifraud services, portfolio analysis, outsourced loan origination systems and collection strategies. The session will discuss which, how, for what and whom such value added services are recommended. Ms. Lynn Wang Director, Analytics and decision Services Asia Pacific TransUnion Residential Café, Level 3 8 P a g e
9 13:45-15:30 Session 14: Collection Strategies The session will focus on improving collection strategies. This session is especially for those who think that collections actions should be based on arrears number or time elapsed from last payments and not on the real risk detected by the scoring. Collection scoring applied to collection strategies can make miracles, to maintain a sound portfolio quality without damaging the relations with the lazy payers, your real good customers. Ms. Galina Ho Managing Director, Credit Services Experian 15:30-17:30 Movie Show: The Inside Job. From Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Charles Ferguson (No End In Sight), comes INSIDE JOB, the first film to expose the shocking truth behind the economic crisis of The global financial meltdown, at a cost of over $20 trillion, resulted in millions of people losing their homes and jobs. Through extensive research and interviews with major financial insiders, politicians and journalists, INSIDE JOB traces the rise of a rogue industry and unveils the corrosive relationships which have corrupted politics, regulation and academia. 9 P a g e
