6 CARD SECURITY AND CONVENIENCE CHIP AND PIN CARD Your Business Advantage Blue Card comes with enhanced security through EMV Chip and PIN technology. It has an embedded microchip which provides additional security against counterfeiting /duplication of the card. It also provides an extra layer of security in the form of a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will be required to enter your 4-digit PIN on the terminal for doing transactions at merchant outlets. For online transactions, you need to register your new Chip and PIN card for 3D Secure (Verified by Visa SecureCode) at It is a second level of authentication for your online card purchases to protect your card against frauds. You can now enter your unique Visa SecureCode PIN in addition to your CVV/Expiry date while shopping online. The registration is mandatory for each of your ICICI Bank Credit Cards. 6

7 CONTACTLESS CARD Your Business Advantage Blue Card is powered by Visa paywave contactless technology, enabling you to make fast, convenient and secure payments at retail outlets. Simply tap your card wherever contactless payments are accepted, in more than 48 countries across the world. You can use your card to make regular dip or swipe transactions at all other merchant outlets. Contactless payment are quick, easy and secure You don t need to enter your PIN just tap/hold your card on the reader* The card never leaves your hand, reducing the risk of card loss or counterfeit Payments supported by state-of-the-art multi-level security protections, safeguarding your card data * Requirement of PIN entry on the POS terminal at the merchant outlet is a function of country specific regulations and subject to change. PIN input is not mandated for purchases below the permissible local limit. As per the existing RBI mandate for India, the transactions up to a maximum value of `2,000 is permitted through contactless mode. Any transaction above this limit, card transaction has to be processed through Chip and PIN mode where authentication through PIN is mandatory. sd 7

8 USING YOUR BUSINESS ADVANTAGE BLUE CONTACTLESS CARD Visa contactless enabled merchants: Check the transaction amount entered by the merchant on the POS (Point of Sale) machine Tap / Hold your card close to the machine (within 4 cm) till you see a green light or hear a beep Please visit for details of merchants enable for Visa contactless payment acceptance. Please look for the Universal Contactless symbol at the POS machine at merchant outlets. All other merchants: The merchant will dip your card at a PIN enabled POS terminal The merchant will enter the transaction amount Check the transaction amount displayed on the POS machine Enter your 4-digit credit card PIN on the POS terminal. Pull out the card once the transaction is complete. A receipt is generated signifying successful completion of transaction Important information: Please do not write/carry/share your PIN with anybody. Your PIN is critical for Point of Sale (POS) terminal transactions and ATM transactions. 8

12 INSURANCE BENEFITS While your Business Advantage Blue Card helps you enjoy its unique benefits & rewards, it is also equipped to compensate for some of the uncertainties associated with your business travel. It offers personal air accident death insurance cover of up to 75 lakh. 13 MULTIPLE BILL PAYMENT OPTIONS Online Payment: Make your Business Advantage Blue Card payment online through the Bill Pay (for ICICI Bank Savings Account) or Click to Pay (non ICICI Bank Savings Account holders) options. ICICI Bank Savings Account holders can also make the Credit Card payment through our Customer Care. Auto-Debit: Control when and how you make payments without ever missing one! ICICI Bank Savings Account holders have the convenience of an auto-debit facility to pay your Business Advantage Blue Card payment directly. Cheque/Demand Draft: You may also deposit your cheque or bank draft favoring your card at any of the drop boxes located at ICICI Bank branches. Please note that an ICICI Bank cheque will take 3 days to clear and a non-icici Bank cheque will take a minimum of 5 days to clear. ICICI BANK ATM: Make your Business Advantage Blue Card bill payment with your ICICI Bank Debit Card on any ICICI Bank ATM. The payment is credited instantly to your Business Card. Access this option under others when you access your Account using your Debit Card on the ICICI Bank ATM. Cash Payment: You may also make your Business Advantage Blue Card bill payment through cash on any ICICI Bank Branch. The payment would reflect in your Business Card within 24 hours. 14 FAQS - Know more about your Business Advantage Blue Card What is Cashback? Cashback is a part of the transaction amount that is credit back to your account. Illustration: If you have made a eligible transaction of `5 Lakh using your Business Advantage Blue Card, you can earn a cashback of 500. The 500 will be credited into your account. How and when do I earn Cashback? You earn cashback every time you make an eligible transaction using your Business Advantage Blue Card. The Cashback account will be credited to your account within days. What is Cashback on credit card bill payment ( Prompt Payment ), and will I get cashback on every payment? In addition to cashback on the eligible transactions and you also can earn cash on your credit card bill payment which is over and above the cashback earned on eligible transaction. Yes! you can earn cashback on making every payment of your credit card bill, given that the payment made is within Prompt payment due date (i.e., within 7 days of statement). The prompt payment due date is mentioned on your statement. Is there a provision that I do not have to pay Joining fees and Annual fee on my card? Yes! there is such provision on your Business Advantage Blue Card. The joining fee will be levied on your card, but you can get it back if you make spends of 50K or more using your card within first 60 days of card setup. Similarly, the annual fee will be credited back to your account if spend 500K or more using your Business Advantage Blue Card 14

15 KNOW YOUR CARD Chip: This is a security feature. The chip contains the information required to use the card for payment. Validity: Your card is valid from the day you have received it upto and including the last day of the month indicated on the card. Visa Logo: Your card is backed by the international reputation and extensive network of VISA, and is accepted at all VISA accepting merchant establishments. Additionally, should you wish to withdraw cash through ATMs, you can do so at ICICI Bank ATMs and participating VISA member bank ATMs. Platinum Business Magnetic Strip: This has a built-in security feature. Please protect it from exposure to magnetic fields. Signature Panel: Please sign on this panel immediately with a non-erasable ballpoint pen (preferably in black ink) This will assure that the benefits of membership are yours and yours alone 15
