SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY DATES: The Eastern Insurance Group LLC Protect My Pet Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) begins Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 12:00:01 Eastern Standard Time ( EST ) and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 29, Entry in the Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes. There will be one (1) random drawing period to award one (1) prize. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Eastern Insurance Group LLC, 233 West Central St, Natick, MA ( Sponsor ) and Metter Media LLC, 552 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA ( Administrator ), whose decisions shall be final and legally binding in all respects. 2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is offered to legal residents of the United States ( U.S. ), residing in the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry ( Entrant ). Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, Administrator and their advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, contractors and any and all other companies associated with the Sweepstakes agents (collectively, the Sweepstakes Entities ), are not eligible to enter or win. All eligibility is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited. All entries submitted are the property of the Sponsor. The Sponsor's database clock will be the timekeeper for the Sweepstakes. 3. HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter: Instagram or Twitter. Twitter and Instagram Entrants must be an active holder of a non-private account to be eligible to enter this Sweepstakes via social media (i.e., Entrant must make sure his or her social media is set to public and not private ). A) Instagram & Twitter Entries: Post or tweet your pet photo showing how you protect your pet with a brief explanation in the caption along with the hashtag #EIGprotectmypet to be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. Only entries that contain the custom hashtag #EIGprotectmypet will be considered entries. Once a valid entry is made it will be carried forward to any other remaining Random Drawings (if any remain). Your entry will be reviewed for compliance with the Rules as set forth in this document and will be included in the relevant Sweepstakes Random Drawing. 2 B) LIMIT: One (1) entry per person no matter which channel of entry you select (Twitter or Instagram). Entrant will be able to review their entry prior to submission, but once it s entered, Entrant will have no access to revise entry in any way. Entry Notes: All entries are subject to verification and approval by the Sponsor. Entries that do not meet the requirements for the photo or comments specified below or otherwise do not comply with the Official Rules herein may be disqualified. Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void. Sponsor will determine in its sole discretion, what constitutes a valid entry. All materials submitted become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures impair the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, and to award the prizes based on eligible entries received prior to the cancellation. If you opt to access the Sweepstakes via your wireless mobile device (only available via participating wireless carriers), data rates may apply for each message sent or received from your handset according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless Internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes. Prohibited Content: Entries must be the original work of the participants and not violate the rights of any other party, including but not limited to intellectual property rights or rights of privacy/publicity. Entry submissions may not contain any content which, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, that: a) is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity; b) promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message; c) is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group; appears to duplicate any other submission;

3 d) defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about other people or companies; e) contains any personal identification, such as personal names or addresses; f) communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which the Sponsor wishes to associate; g) includes a visual of a competing bank s logo or obvious branding, and/or copy mentioning a competing insurance agency or company by name (Geico, Allstate, Cross Insurance, etc.); h) infringes the rights of any third party; and/or i) violates any law. License: By submitting a photo and/or comments, participants grant Sponsor and/or the participating partners of the Sweepstakes, if any; a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to transform, edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, transmit, publish, broadcast, perform, display, or otherwise use the photo/comments with or without modifications, in any form or medium whether now existing or later developed. Entrant s Representations: By entering you represent and warrant that the submission is Entrant s original work product and does not infringe the rights of any third party and the submission has not been previously published in any medium. Sponsor is not responsible for problems downloading or uploading any Sweepstakes-related information to or from the web site or for any other technical malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failures, phone lines, failure of any electronic mail entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, traffic, congestion on the internet or the web site, or any other technical problems related to web site entries including telecommunication miscommunication or failure, and failed, lost, delayed, incomplete, garbled or misdirected communications which may limit an entrant s ability to participate in this Sweepstakes. 4. RANDOM DRAWING SCHEDULE: Random Drawings will be conducted based on the schedule listed below from all eligible entries received during the relevant Sweepstakes Random Drawing. 4 5. PRIZES/ODDS OF WINNING: Only the prizes listed below will be awarded in the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received prior to each relevant Random Drawing. LIMIT: ONE (1) PRIZE PER PERSON OR HOUSEHOLD. PRIZES NOT CLAIMED OR REMAINS UNAWARDED IN ANY ENTRY PERIOD (1-3) WILL BE CARRIED FORWARD TO THE NEXT RELEVANT RANDOM DRAWING PERIOD. IF ANY PRIZE REMAINS UNCLAIMED OR UNAWARDED AFTER THE FINAL RANDOM DRAWING (#4) IT WILL BE MADE VOID AND WILL NOT BE AWARDED IN ANY SECOND CHANCE DRAWING. The Sweepstakes Random Drawing will award the following prize: One Prize: One winner will receive a $50 gift card to Petco. Prize is awarded in the form of a gift card. Approximate retail value of each prize $50. Winner is responsible for any federal, state or local tax (if any) and the reporting consequences thereof. 7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified direct message on social media using the contact information provided at the time of entry. Sponsor shall have no liability for any notification that is lost, intercepted or not received for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, any potential winner does not respond within (48) hours of the first notification attempt with any requested information (i.e., winner s full name and complete mailing address), or if prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, such potential winner will forfeit prize and an alternate potential winner may be selected. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason, such potential winner will be disqualified and at Sponsor s discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected. An alternate winner will be randomly selected from all remaining non-winning entries in the relevant Random Drawing. 8. Release of Liability / Conditions of Participation. A. Transmission of Information. Sponsor, Administrator and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliate companies and advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers (collectively, with Twitter and Instagram Released Parties ), are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing, typographical or other errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or this Sweepstakes; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of this Sweepstakes, the uploading, the processing or random selection of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (5) late, lost, garbled, misdirected, inaccurate, incorrect, undeliverable, damaged or stolen entries or mail; (6) costs associated with claiming or redeeming the prizes; nor (7) loss or damages resulting

5 from an entrant s connection to the internet via any of the websites contained herein. Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect, mis-transcribed, misdirected or undeliverable entries, transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, or for any technical problems of any kind, malfunctions of computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate or damaged entries, or undeliverable E- mails resulting from any form of active or passive filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or client or for insufficient space in user's account to receive . Sponsor does not accept responsibility for any damage (whether material or non-material) caused to entrants, to their computer equipment or to data which is stored on them, or to their personal, professional or commercial activities. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor or Administrator. B. Reservation of Rights. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify this Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If terminated, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, determine winners from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Administrator, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner and void all associated entries. The preceding in no way precludes Sponsor from taking other actions against such individuals so as to protect its rights. Sponsor s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules in a given circumstance does not constitute the waiver of such provision. C. Release and Indemnity. By participating, entrant indemnifies, releases and agrees to hold harmless the Released Parties, their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and other entities involved in the development / production / administration of the Sweepstakes, and the directors, officers, agents, representatives, shareholders, employees, successors and assigns of any of the above organizations, from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury (including emotional distress), and/or death, arising from participating in the Sweepstakes, any Sweepstakes-related activity and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize and for any claims or causes of action based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. D. Playing Fair: Anyone attempting to damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws. Eastern Insurance Group LLC and its promotional partners reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person(s) to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify from the Sweepstakes

6 any person(s) that it suspects of making such an attempt. Eastern Insurance Group LLC and its promotional partners reserve the right to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes on account of fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Any decisions made by Eastern Insurance Group LLC and its partners under this paragraph are final. 9. FORCE MAJEURE. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes (or any part thereof) is not capable of running as planned by reason of computer virus, bug, system malfunction, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, fire, flood, storm or other natural cataclysm, riot, strike, civil commotion, governmental regulation or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which, in its sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes (or any part thereof), Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and conduct the Sweepstakes selecting the prize winner(s) for affected Sweepstakes Period Random Drawing(s) from among all eligible entries received for such affected Sweepstakes Period relevant Random Drawing(s) prior to the action taken by Sponsor or otherwise in a manner which is fair, equitable and in accordance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. 10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION/GOVERNING LAW. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree that: (a) any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or this Sweepstakes shall be filed exclusively in the federal or state courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action; (b) any such action shall be resolved individually, NOT as part of a class action; (c) any claims/judgments/awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entrant s entry into the Sweepstakes (if any), but NOT attorneys fees, special damages, punitive damages, or consequential damages of any kind (including lost wages). These Official Rules and this Sweepstakes shall be governed by the internal, substantive laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to principles of choice of laws/conflict of laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or of any other jurisdiction. 11. PRIVACY: Use of Data. Sponsor and Administrator will be collecting personal data about Entrants online, in accordance with each of their privacy policies. Please review Sponsor's privacy policy By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policies. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all entrants acknowledge that if they are chosen as a winner, certain of their personally identifying information may be disclosed to third parties, including, without limitation, on a winner s list. All personal information submitted as part of the Sweepstakes may be shared by and between the Released Parties and their affiliates and partners, and such affiliates and

7 partners will use disclosed personally identifying information in accordance with their respective online privacy policies.
